From my experience it seems that Beaverton Toyota only hires genuinely nice folk from the sales on through service. They make you feel almost like you're the only customer they have that day and nothing is too small of an issue for them to address for you. From the sales staff, I have never felt pressured into a sale. In fact, when I bought my second car, they actually attempted to talk me into a lower priced model to save me some money. They made the whole process as painless as possible. (I used to hate car shopping.) I live just a few blocks from another Toyota dealer but Beaverton Toyota has all my automotive business. More

Last car I buy from BT Extremely poor experience. Second vehicle I have purchased from this dealership. First go around 2-3 years ago was good. This time was the opposite. First of all this was a 100% lay down sale with no real sales work for anyone to do, which I could've taken to any Toyota dealership, I was trading in my 2014 4Runner Limited, so I kinda already knew what I was getting (2017 4Runner Limited) and everything about it. I called Joel told him I wanted the 2017 Limited 4Runner White/Black they had. He explained the one in stock was tan interior but he could order me what I wanted with a $1000 deposit. I also had him see what they would give me for my trade-in (I provided every detail he requested). He sent me a screenshot of a range from $33.3k - $36.6k (KBB). I told him if we could be towards the higher end of this range, this would work. He wrote back, OK! I came in to pay my deposit and Joel was busy with a customer so I dealt with Tyler (who apparently no longer works there) and worked out all the details. I was paying extra to have it trailered to the dealership and he had included the window, wind deflectors in the pricing for me. Everything good to this point. When the vehicle arrived and I came in to make the deal, that's where BT completely xxxx the bed. First Joel tells me that BT is going to give me bare minimum of the range for trade-in ($33.3k). He should have been transparent about this up front, as I'm sure he knew all along this would be the case. Then he proceeds to tell me that they were unable to trailer the vehicle down so someone drove it from Seattle to the dealership. Not OK and not discussed with me, I wanted a new car, not one that had a Seattle road trip on it already. I had Joel do the financing for the vehicle as he explained they were competitive with the best rates available. My credit score is 780+ and as for income, this is an extremely modest purchase for me, just love 4Runner's. Joel came back with a 4.04% rate. I trusted rate was good, but was ready to walk on the deal given the other issues. John came in for the "save" and came back with a higher offer on the trade-in ($34.5k), but still towards the lower half of the range. I was in a position where I didn't want to lose my $1000 deposit, so I went through with the deal. At this point I had to get going as I had an appointment to get to and needed to get out of there. I offered to come in the next day for the transaction, but they were not interested in letting me "walk" given the circumstances (I ended up being extremely late to my appointment). So as we are tearing through signing papers in an attempt to speed up the process, they went ahead and up'd the rate to 4.25% to offset the additional cost they gave me for my trade-in. Complete xx, especially since John was playing the "were taking the hit to make this happen for you" card. Anyhow, deal was completed and I rushed out of there to my appointment. I called Joel the next day to discuss the wind guards and getting them installed. He explained to me that Tyler no longer worked there and he was not aware of these being added and if I wanted them, I needed to pay for the wind guards and installation. So basically I'm the one punished for lack of communication and diligent paper work on BT's end. I honestly could not believe I was having this conversation with such a well established business, that I thought, ran a tight honest ship. I was done with BT at this point, but it gets better...or worse depending on who's perspective you see it from. Someone from BT called me about 2 weeks later and explained that the payoff on my trade-in was $70 short and I needed to come in and pay this at my earliest convenience. I came down the next day and took care of this, because it's the right thing to do, although that wasn't the theme of this entire transaction. Then the icing on the cake. I go into On Point CU today and they get me a 2.19% rate for financing through them. I of course am moving forward with this once I get my account # from current financing for payoff. This is complete xx, almost double the best available market rate?!?! W.T.F. I came in with perfect credit, income, lay down sale, took no ones time at all besides paperwork, bought one of the more expensive vehicles they sale at full rip, and was still screwed over in every way they could possibly do so. I buy a new car every 2-4 years, time to find a new dealership. This dealership has obviously transitioned to profits before ethics. Which is great for the bottom line but bad for retention, case and point. More

Concerned about value/risk in used cars in the 10K and under price range, Gary asked if we considered a lease. The rest is history! We got her into a 2017 Corolla lease for 6K down and a very manageable $84 payment for our daughter. With the maintenance, warranty, safety and Halo, the transaction was perfect for our situation. Gary was excellent, no pressure. Just gave us the facts which closed the deal! More

I had not been to a car dealership since 1990 and felt like a lamb going to slaughter. Mr. Khan was extremely respectful, helpful and patient and understood that I would probably not be buying a car - just getting my feet wet in the process of looking/buying a vehicle.. My car had been stolen 5 days previously and I was not prepared to purchase at that time and I did not. However, I would not hesitate to visit the dealership again. More
