Beaverton Hyundai either lies a lot or doesn't know the products and services that they sell, most likely both. We bought a brand new Hyundai from them in May of 2022. The sales guy told us the vehicle ha products and services that they sell, most likely both. We bought a brand new Hyundai from them in May of 2022. The sales guy told us the vehicle had features which it does not. The floor manager, sales associate, and the finance manager all separately gave us false information on both the included warranties and the added, third-party warranties that we purchased. We spoke with both the general sales manager and general manager and they continued to give us false information about the included Hyundai warranties. The general sales manager then started sending us spam sales emails that had nothing to do with our issues. All of the people we dealt with were extremely friendly but I wouldn't believe anything any of them says. They often changed their story from one moment to the next. If you must buy a car from them, do not do a trade-in (you won't get anywhere near what your vehicle is worth), do not buy any extras from them (third-party warranties and services are less expensive, better in general, and more transparent elsewhere), know exactly what you're looking for and what it should cost before you get there (they don't know their products or just don't care about being honest). Read everything you sign thoroughly and make sure every dollar is accounted for, if you let them, they will absolutely take advantage of you More
I was impressed with the guy who signed me in all the way to the guy who walked me out to my car. Fast service...1 hour for an oil change. Unheard of from a dealership! to the guy who walked me out to my car. Fast service...1 hour for an oil change. Unheard of from a dealership! More
Talk about a stereotypical GM. We came in on a Sunday in 100 degree weather and he was racing down the dealership in his Polaris. We overheard him talking about how he had to keep his “toy” at the dealership so his wife didn’t see it. We should have known and left at that time, but my wife had her heart set on her dream car after earning a promotion and bonus at work. We just walked by and kept looking at cars. We had an amazing experience with the sales rep and went through the purchasing process, that’s when it all went downhill. The sales manager (Mladen - Stay away from this one) was misogynistic and disrespectful to my wife and a stereotypical slick talking car salesman. I caught him in two lies. First one was about the car being under 30 days on the lot (it’s been there for two months, and it’s public knowledge), second about our trade in at CarMax. We walked out and decided to sleep on the decision. That next day I talked to the salesmen and he asked us to come back in to work things out. He said, my GM wants to talk to you and he will call you in 20 minutes. Well he never called. I talked to the sales rep and he said, “he’s here, he should have called” so I called the 800- number and was told by another rep he wasn’t in. Me, calling xx, called back in, talked to a new rep and confirmed he was in the building, but was in a meeting. Dave never called me or communicated with me, like a coward, he had his sales guy text me saying the car was no longer available for my wife to purchase. What kind of GM doesn’t even attempt to communicate with a paying customer? Luckily for us, we know how to use the internet and found the exact same make/model/features on my wife’s car at $4500 less. We are proud owners of a new Hyundai and unfortunately will never be back to Beaverton Hyundai, down the street from us to buy a car. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. There are a ton of great Hyundai dealerships that will take care of you and treat you like a human being. More
Scott in Service Department very attentive to my concerns and resolved the issue to my total satisfaction. Even provided a loaner car which was much appreciated. and resolved the issue to my total satisfaction. Even provided a loaner car which was much appreciated. More
I traded in a car to this dealer over 2 years ago. I was not advised to keep my plates or have them transferred to the new vehicle. The dealer sold the car at auction, and did not file anything with D I was not advised to keep my plates or have them transferred to the new vehicle. The dealer sold the car at auction, and did not file anything with DMV. The auction sold the car to an individual (unknown to me). The individual has never registered the vehicle and has gotten multiple speeding tickets and has had at least two accidents. Each time I am notified as the 'owner.' I filed the sale with DMV, but since he never registered it, I show as the last known owner. The dealer should have filed the ownership change with DMV; it's unreasonable that they can bypass this and also that the auction can bypass this step. While they may be within their legal rights, they are not within their ethical rights. The transaction for the dealer to transfer the plates to the new car is simple and $6. I have asked repeatedly for assistance as this nightmare will not end. They have been responsive and have tried to help, but this could have been prevented. Additionally, information should have been filed with DMV by either this dealership or the auction. Please never ever leave your plates on any car you sell or trade. I have no visibility to who the auction or the end purchaser are, so I can only try to get the story out there to prevent this happening to someone else. More
