I believe that they are there to “WOW” ya! In the beginning of summer of 2019, I launched my research for a new Toyota Highlander. I started to acquire prices online from several Toyota dealers In the beginning of summer of 2019, I launched my research for a new Toyota Highlander. I started to acquire prices online from several Toyota dealerships in my surrounding areas. My experiences with most of the dealerships’ managers were that they were too firmed on their prices for the Highlanders. When pricing the Highlander, they drew a line in the sand and said “take it or leave it”. Even during a Toyota National Clearance Event, I could not find a fair market price for a Highlander until I went to Linda Beaver Toyota dealership in St. Augustine and met Salesman Julian Addison and Manager George May. After meeting with them, I thought they were going to approach me by using a high pressure sale tactics. That was not the case, their approached were completely difference from other salesmen and managers. As a matter of fact, their demeanors were totally customer service focused. After negotiating with them on a price, they offered a fair market price for a brand new Toyota Highlander. There was no price gouging during the transaction. If you have problems trying to buy a Toyota from a dealership who wants to grandstands you, I recommended that you try Linda Beaver Toyota dealership. During the process, I was surprised that they acted in good faith. Dealing with Beaver Toyota was a rare occasion, where I did not leave their dealership with a bitter taste in my mouth. Inside their dealership was a bell hanging on the wall. Each time they sold a Toyota vehicle, the buyer rung the bell. I was there about two and half hours and the bell was rung three times. The bell was an indicator that told me how well other buyers were treated. I believe that they are there to “WOW” ya! More
