Luke at Beardmore gave us great personal service, including separate test drives for my wife and myself while we were wrangling our daughter. The price was fair, they sourced us a vehicle from Minnesota within a few days, and they were very responsive to our few concerns and hiccups that happened along the way. The facility was very nice as well. No dingy offices, just bright lights and glass walls. That wasn't a big deal to us, but it was nice as car deals take a bit of time. When my phone went dead, Luke even found me a phone charger and brought my charged phone out to me when we were in the finance office. Basically, exceptional service throughout. Oh, and we like the car too. More
Pride in Product Shines Through! We purchased a 2006 Baja back in May 2014 before it even hit the lot. This car is gorgeous! 53K miles and left in amazing condition. This was the best price we found of all the Bajas we researched(a lot). Our dealer was very nice, helpful and honest. There were some mechanical problems we ran into over the last few months (transmission, belts, swaybar end links(?) and we live in KC so we had the car fixed at our local dealership. Subaru of America covered a large portion, as did the warrantee, but we still had a good portion left to pay. We discussed the work needed with Jim and Rob in Service and very quickly both gentleman showed how dedicated they are to keeping quality to the Beardmore name. 2 days later I received a very generous check to offset the rest of the cost. When Beardmore and Subaru tells you they have pride in their cars and stand by that, believe them! I'm not shocked to see the high ratings, they are well earned. The Baja is my 3rd Subaru and we will be back many many years from now when it's time to purchase again. (New Bajas please!!!!!!). Thank you, Beardmore for being so wonderful to work with!!! More

We leased a new vehicle this summer in an effort to assure we would have reliable transportation for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, we began experiencing major electrical problems within the first few months. The service staff at Beardmore had our vehicle for over 34 days without ever calling us to update us on what they’d found, and could provide no detailed diagnostic information, which may be why the problem continues to reoccur, requiring us to repeatedly return the vehicle. Throughout the process we were dismissed by service manager Jim Bowser and his technicians, who gave little more than 1-word responses. We were lied to by GM Doug Christensen, who gave us the verbal equivalent of a pat on the head and assured us we would be taken care of though he provided no follow-through. He and his entire staff made it quite clear they couldn’t care less about our lack of reliable transportation, so we took the car elsewhere to have it properly diagnosed by professionals. If Beardmore is incapable of completing warranty work correctly and with tact, I’m not sure what they can do. Would highly recommend going elsewhere- anywhere, elsewhere. More

I have just completed the purchase of my 4th Subaru Forester, three of them from Beardmore Subaru, and two of them with Thane Kreager. When my husband and I recently decided to buy a new Subaru Forester, our local Subaru dealership here in Sioux Falls, SD wanted a ridiculous price. Their idea of a "fair price" was to add a wholly bogu Subaru Forester, our local Subaru dealership here in Sioux Falls, SD wanted a ridiculous price. Their idea of a "fair price" was to add a wholly bogus $1,069 "dealer prep" fee and $200 "documentation" fee to the MSRP then graciously knock them off and try to charge folks nearly full retail on a vehicle. We emailed other Subaru dealers in Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota to check on Forester models available and get price quotes. We finally purchased a Forester 2.5i CVT from Beardmore Subaru. Even after the expense of a 6-hour round-trip drive to Bellevue, NE, we saved around $1,600 over what Schulte Subaru in Sioux Falls wanted to charge us. The salesman we dealt with at Beardmore Subaru was Tom Howard. Mr. Howard was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and made the transaction as simple and straightforward as possible. More

Recently had an addition to family. Needed to upgrade vehicles. I brought our 10 week old child in to make sure his car seat fit how we wanted it. I flew in from SWMO to drive home a low-mileage used car. I had specific questions which were specifically answered--unfortunately, some of the answers were not accurate. I ultimately still wanted and bought the car, but without some of the desired features I was seeking. Rick Ham was an accommodating sales person and even gave me a ride from the airport. Financing, which I had asked to be addressed before I left, had not been touched until I sat down in the finance office. I asked for this because of my local relationships with banks where I've been financed at competitive rates. The finance manager saw no auto loans on my credit report (I owned two already, and paid off early) with a 5yo "ding" on my report and started quoting rates at, I kid you not, 10.99% on a 60 month note. After I got my own bank on the phone, it magically started to decrease as she stepped in with her manager to see if she could do anything for me. I ask the industry as a whole: Do you believe the public so naive as to think we don't know you (the dealer) in your dealings with your lenders can still make more money at the financing table, as a percentage of the cost of lending, and that the rates are only as competitive as they have to be? To be clear, my FICO, was just shy of 700 at the time of purchase. NOT impressed with financing. The service department claimed the vehicle checked out, however, a carrier bearing was about to go out and I didn't feel it until 1,000 miles post-purchase. My fault for not putting the thing on a lift, but if a DEALER claims to have had it checked out, as opposed to a sketchy used car independent, I'm more inclined to believe them. It's on me ($1800), but I still like my car--I just would've negotiated more in retrospect. More
