I initially had a decent experience which quickly turned sour when Ian informed me the car would be sold for 43k and then Bobby slipped 46k into the paperwork. When I asked for clarification Bobby lied and sour when Ian informed me the car would be sold for 43k and then Bobby slipped 46k into the paperwork. When I asked for clarification Bobby lied and waved his hands stating 'it was taxes'. When I asked for paperwork outlining the sales price, I was informed by Bobby that 'our paperwork is a mess, I'll get that to you be end of day'. That 'end of day' turned into 'a few days' which turned into 'never'. I followed up multiple times be email, by phone and via Ian who just keep kicking the can down the road and who then ghosted my communications when I informed them I was going to pursue legal action. In addition to the above, the brand new car I bought (with less than 50 miles on it) was delivered to my door with the check engine light on by Ian. When I asked Ian when he arrived why the check engine light was on (I got a notification via the Dodge app when I had set up the day before at the dealership) he informed me it 'had been fixed'. As soon as I turned the car on I confirmed it had infact not been fixed. I then had to go back and forward with the service department for weeks who finally confirmed to me that the car was missing an O2 sensor and they eventually replaced it. The service department were supposed to call me when the part came in, the didn't. They were supposed to call me when the fix was done, they didn't. I had to keep calling them over and over again to get my service complete. Needless to say my experience at this dealership was nothing short of an absolute nightmare made all the worse by being blatantly lied to by both Ian and Bobby repeatedly. Both of these men should be reprimanded and I will be following up with legal action. More

I brought the vehicle in for a transmission problem. Several days later I was told I needed a new engine. No explanation was given why an engine with 28,000 miles on it needed to be replaced. I went to Several days later I was told I needed a new engine. No explanation was given why an engine with 28,000 miles on it needed to be replaced. I went to the service department and spoke to the manager. It was a very casual response. It happens all the time! Well it's never happened to me, EVER. I asked about the transmission and Brian didn't have an answer. The vehicle was ready 5 weeks later. I waited an extra day for it to go through a quality control review which could not have been done. I drove the vehicle for 1/2 mile and had the same transmission problem that I had originally brought it in for . There is no way that the vehicle was test driven after the engine replacement. I returned it and test drove it with a mechanic. He said he would do a software update. That seemed to resolve the problem. I drove home and parked the car. Two hours later I drove to the store and had the same transmission problem occurred. Brian told to bring the car back. When I brought it back, I told Brian to have them look at the backup camera because it was not working. I also told Brian that I needed the vehicle for a trip the following Wednesday. The car was not ready and I had to rent a car for the trip. On Tuesday I received a call that the transmission was fixed, I asked about the backup camera. Brian had to get back to me. He called back and said that it was probably the camera that needed to be replaced for a cost of $760 but they could not guarantee that that was the problem. Thankfully it was a faulty camera. Bayside has a problem doing more than one thing at a time. They could have fixed the transmission while we waited for a new engine to be delivered. They could have replaced the camera while I waited for the transmission to be fixed. They have a poor quality control program and no concern for people's time or inconvenience. They had my Grand Cherokee for 6 weeks in total and treated me like it was an overnight repair. I was also told that it was an additional 3% change to pay for the camera repair if I use a credit card. I said that I should have been told this, the check out person's response was that she was telling me now. A lot of good that did. Oh, and lastly, my second receipt for the transmission and camera had another person's name on it. Brian could not determine why this happened or how to fix this. Never again will I use Bayside's service department. And, because of the extremely poor service, I would never recommend the sales department either. I gave all four in the management department 1 star for not recognizing and addressing the poor systemic quality of this service department. More
