Jay tried to give me different name when I asked for it, I found his name on the website, he challenged me by saying: you can call tomorrow morning my manager Bob will be here, I don't scare. ---I'm hoping Bob and him aren't not the same kind person. A couple months ago when we talked about a new car purchase in about 2026, my son asked me: Dad, what brand will your next new car be? My answer was Jeep. But now I have to rethink, here is the story below. I called in @10:42am yesterday to schedule a same day appointment @ 6:30pm for oil change and I showed up on time . The service advisor Jay Escobar told me I will have to wait 2.5 hour for the car to go in and it will take another 1 or 1.5 hours for the car to be ready, he said that I have a choice that either wait for about 4 hours or reschedule , the way he talked was very rude and cold, then I asked if he doesn't want me to come back for the oil change?He pissed up, he THREATENED me saying: when you sitting here waiting and waiting you will know what happen. The other 2 phone receiver ladies sitting on the corner when he said that. As a result, he called me at 7:26pm saying my car was ready, he said the reason why it only took not even an hour was because he skipped the waiting line for me, but I didn't feel comfortable about what he said because he didn't make me feel like he is the kind of person who try to help me, he even said that the only reason that come here for FREE OIL CHANGE. This is verbal attack on a customer! Now I have a serious concern: Did the job to my car has been properly done last night? Did he do something inappropriate things to my car that might cause future problem to the car? I have the reason to the concern since he was very unwelcome me for the FREE OIL CHANGE . I have one more question to the dealer: When I purchased the car in about 10 years ago you guys promised me for LIFE TIME FREE OIL CHNAGE , are you still happy to keep the promise? The service manager Sebastian is knowledgeable and helpful. He fully explained costs and answered my questions about additional upgrades I would like performed. A few weeks ago I had to bring my 2018 Grand Cherokee in for repair and while I was waiting, I looked around. Jamaine Alphonso gave me his card and we spoke about the 2025 Grand Cherokee. I have had the worst possible experience with the service station. I brought my vehicle in a month and a half ago they put a Band-Aid on the problem three days later I had to return the vehicle to the servic station. The service station had my vehicle for a total of almost 5 weeks, almost $3000 in car rental that I had to pay which I’m getting reimbursed I have to call three different times to get the service agreement to submit To Chrysler to get my money back for the rental no response I had to physically show up there to get a print out of my service agreement. The most service center I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve bought three jeeps from Bayside. I am beyond livid. More
