Honestly this is the best dealership experience I've ever had. Ask for Desean, he's one of the best employees to get you sorted out on any car that you want. He's efficient and is upfront with everything you had. Ask for Desean, he's one of the best employees to get you sorted out on any car that you want. He's efficient and is upfront with everything you need to know and made the process really smooth. He goes above and beyond for his customers and tries to help as much as possible. In addition, other employees inclusive of the manager will check up on you while you're waiting to make sure that you're having a great experience. 11/10 and they know they know their stuff. More
Very pleased with my experience. Not the typical pushy car salesmen. They listened to the things I needed and made the efforts to get it. Very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend to friends and car salesmen. They listened to the things I needed and made the efforts to get it. Very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. We have taken the car back several times to try to get the problem fixed. Kia is aware the engine has a problem. The oil burns extremely fast, there is also a recall on this engine. The guy in service told me the engine would definitely fail then Kia could replace the engine at that time. I was told this car was in great shape and been serviced by Kia. There solution is for my 19 year old daughter to keep driving the car until the engine fails. Basically Kia will not fix the problem until my daughter is driving her car and the engine fails. Not to safe in my opinion. Giving the fact she just bought the car , I am sure Kia new about the problem but just wanted to sale a 19 year old a car. No matter what problems or safety issues it would cause. They told my daughter to keep coming up to the shop every week and they would top the oil off. How long are we going to do that. I feel I need legal help at this point. More
Called to verify a car was on the lot. They confirmed it was. Drove 30min to the dealership and it wasn’t on the lot. They claimed the CFO drive it off the lot. It was a used car. Bait and switch from the car I asked to see to the car I was shown. After test driving a 2020 and attempting to negotiate pricing on a 2020 and 2021 it was a bait and switch with negotiating a sale. They was shown. After test driving a 2020 and attempting to negotiate pricing on a 2020 and 2021 it was a bait and switch with negotiating a sale. They add odd fees and charges. Horrible customer service. Dirty dealership. The new salesman was very kind, his co-worker was not. More
AVOID LIKE CORONAVIRUS!! I bought my first Kia, brand new in 2011, from Battleground Kia. I purchased the Sorento SX, fully loaded, largest SUV they made at the time, so you know we dropped a few coins. new in 2011, from Battleground Kia. I purchased the Sorento SX, fully loaded, largest SUV they made at the time, so you know we dropped a few coins. Had a great buying experience the first time, so naturally I returned there again on 6/26/2020 looking to purchase my second New Kia. Was there for 2 hours before I had to leave for a meeting but they let me drive the car home for a few hours so my husband could see and drive it. We both loved the Sportage EX I drove home but I didn't like the color. I texted Ryan, the salesman (who was really nice BTW) and told him i wasn't paying $494/mo for the vehicle and to go ahead and speak to the sales manager, Anthony, to give me their very best price when I got there because I wasn't going to hang around again, haggling over a price. When we get there, Ryan shows us another Sportage EX on the lot exactly like the one I drove home but in a different color. I liked this color much better so I told him i would be good with this new color if we could agree on a price/payment/terms. We were very specific with both Ryan and Anthony on a 75 month term and were told we qualified for the 0.9% financing promotion since we have excellent credit. Anthony. the sales manager, said he was able to get our payments to what we told him we could afford, around $420-430 a month. We then go into the finance office to sign paperwork but when we get to the very last page, I notice at the bottom of the page a line that reads "$451 a month at 4.79% for 84 months." NOPE!!! Stopped it right there, sales manager comes in, pulls out the paper that he had done some writing on when he was talking to us, to show us that he had written on the paper that it would be for 84 months, not 75 like we specified previously and thought we were getting. GUESS WHAT?!? He couldn't find that written on a single sheet of paper in the file!!! Nor was there anything about an almost 4% rate increase. We stood there and made them void every single page before we left. Battleground Kia has apparently taken to some underhanded financial dealings, but thank God I caught them before the deal was done!!! GO TO ANY OTHER DEALER BUT BATTLEGROUND KIA!!!! More
Overcharged, did not honor pre-approved financing This dealership.. RUN RUN RUN as fast as you can away from them. $1733.50 tacked on to ALL contracts in dealership fees. Refused to honor pre-approved This dealership.. RUN RUN RUN as fast as you can away from them. $1733.50 tacked on to ALL contracts in dealership fees. Refused to honor pre-approved financing, and refused to call lender to confirm. Insisted in using their own finance companies, even after telling them, that I was already denied. I KNOW ALL three companies they tried to used, and had already been turned down. Car was a disaster also... 2017 Kia Forte LX, bad front brakes (howling and grinding when stopping at all speeds), clicking clutch pedal, no power from engine at all (I I owned a 2015 Hyundai Elantra, and was driving a 2020 Hyundai Elantra with same size engine). ZERO power at highway speed even with gas pedal floored. This is common with defective exhaust VVT valve, which causes this, and severe engine vibration, they claim was normal... xxx I drove 5 hours round trip to get this deal, and it was denied... They should be out of business... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE More
