I was 1 of several customers buying a car. And not a single person had a bad experience from what I saw. Everyone was in a cheerful mood. But I will say that some of the sales team, about 3 really need single person had a bad experience from what I saw. Everyone was in a cheerful mood. But I will say that some of the sales team, about 3 really need to work on maners. Walking by a customer just standing by a vehicle and admiring it and saying "For the right price that car can be yours" and continue to walk away really says something about your character. More

Battleground Kia has had a 2021 Kia Forte (stock number 21697) in a gray advertised for $17,300. It’s the first car that comes up on their website when you look at the new car inventory. It’s been listed f 21697) in a gray advertised for $17,300. It’s the first car that comes up on their website when you look at the new car inventory. It’s been listed for a least a week that I know of because I have been trying to purchase the car, but when I call to ask about it, first they say the car is still there and to come on in to test drive and talk to sales. I mention that I don’t need to test drive and would just like to start purchase over phone. They tell me that they can’t do that and not honoring the virtual appointment I made online with their company when inquiring about that car. They said I have to come in and talk to sales manager and look at what else they have. After I call them out for this sounding like a bait and switch scam, they have a sales person (Cam) call me. He tells me that they can’t find the car. He said it’s either a loaner car or they haven’t received it yet. He said the general manager will track down and call me, but then goes on to tell me that they have Rio’s around that price or new Forte’s coming in that are the upgraded version but it would cost more. This is exactly how bait and switch works and it’s illegal. Meanwhile, Cam has never called back but I have been in contact with girl that schedules appointments because she wants to know when I can come in to look at my options since car is “missing”. Her main job is just to get someone through the door. It’s a big game to them. Either the company has purchased that car and they don’t plan on selling so they can legally advertise for it (but tell most people it just sold but check out this more expensive car) or they are advertising for a car they don’t have. This missing car is still listed as their number 1 car for sale, so I doubt it’s truly missing. Even after all my conversations with company and them acknowledging that it’s missing, it is still being advertised just in time for Thanksgiving weekend and Black Friday shoppers. I have a feeling the ad won’t go down until after this weekend where they will say they sold it. They will replace this Forte with a 2022 online with an amazing deal that they never plan on honoring. I strongly encourage everyone to read the reviews. I’m not the only one saying this. This company will probably respond to this write up saying it sounds like lack of communication but it’s not. I have many texts from Jessica and she even confirmed everything with Cam about our conversation. Cam, the sales associate is very well aware of what’s going on. He just says the manager will need to return my call but he’s never in the office. It’s not lack of communication. They have many reviews doing this. It’s illegal and I am reporting it to the FTC (for whatever that’s worth) and will probably get a lawyer to look into this because they have been getting away with it for years by reading reviews.
