Long Time Coming It has been a long time since I have bought a new car. 1993 to be exact. Last Saturday we went to try on cars. I wasn't sure of what I wanted or if I It has been a long time since I have bought a new car. 1993 to be exact. Last Saturday we went to try on cars. I wasn't sure of what I wanted or if I would enjoy the fit of the new cars. I had shopped after hours just so that I would not have to deal with the salesman. You know pressure sales. We stopped at Barker Honda because it was first on the road. We looked at program cars because I knew that is what I could afford. We met Evan Duplantis, pressure was not in his vocabulary. He was happy to show us whatever we wanted to look at. Every SUV that I had been interested in was on your lot so I didn't have to go from lot to lot. I did tell Evan that we were not there to buy only to look, and look we did. We had him walking back and forth for keys to cars in the heat no less. Always a smile on his face and tell us the facts to all the cars. We were looking at one Honda CR-V and was very interested in but he pointed to the Certified CR-V that we missed. Evan explained to what extent that the Certification covered and the two cars were in the same price range so he had us sold with the Certified one. It was a no-brainier. Then the dreaded money talk and again not going to buy a car today. Evan was fine with that but let's just see what we can do for you. Needless to say it was easier than I thought and he was very helpful so we put a deposit that day. Forget about not buying a car today. Monday we came in to finalize the payment and questions that needed to be asked about warranties and such and we were directed to the right thing for us. Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful. It was all about us. If I had known it had been that easy I would have bought a car sooner. It was my birthday and the CR-V was my gift to myself. My sister has told me about your service and how you stand behind what you sell and always helpful and getting it done right the first time. I hope that I will never have that need but I know I will be in good hands. Today, Tuesday, I went to work and all my friends have come out to see the car. I told about our experience at Barker and I recommended the dealership. I had two friends that have already experienced it and would buy again. Thank you ever so much for making this easy for me. I love my new car and hope to enjoy it for years to come. Thanks again Evan for your help, and feeling like we deal with a friend. More
