Tire losing air fix not accomplished, although attempted. Took to a auto shop less than a 1/2 mile away and they identified the leak was from a plug that barker put in. Also was told front caliper was bad Took to a auto shop less than a 1/2 mile away and they identified the leak was from a plug that barker put in. Also was told front caliper was bad and had 2mm pad left. Was told in the spring they were fine. Think this is my last visit to to Barker for service. Although nice, not feeling I am getting desired service. More
Our first and only experience with Barker did not go well. 30 minutes after purchasing a used car from them we had an issue. Immediately we called the sales person we purchased the car from. Knowing we well. 30 minutes after purchasing a used car from them we had an issue. Immediately we called the sales person we purchased the car from. Knowing we were told there was no warranty or guarantee we hoped they would take care of the issue. The sales person told us his boss said we needed to “get the vehicle back to them”. That’s when things did not go so well. Their service area told us it would cost around $800 to fix the problem and we would have to pay for half of it. After checking other places, I found to fix the issue would be between $3-$400; so it was very obvious we would be paying the full cost of the repair. The sales person was great to work with, but his sales boss who made the decision thinks customers are naïve. His sales boss needs to take a look at how he deals with customers. Can’t say much for the buying experience at this Barker place. … interesting that I noticed they always respond to online reviews by telling you to call them to discuss the problem. Obviously, they don’t want the public to see their response in writing. More
