John was both friendly and helpful in purchasing my new car. Although the price was not what was quoted earlier by another salesperson, John was instrumental in negotiating a reasonable price. He also alerted me to Dodge's commercial van advertising rebate. As a new customer I have one suggestion in making the experience better: stop the fanfare when the deal is complete. It was both embarrassing and patronizing for John (my salesperson) to make an announcement on the PA system and have every salesperson shake my hand and congratulate me on the sale. More

My new Jeep was delivered freshly washed & all window stickers removed. He then spent about 20 -30 minutes going over all the features & buttons in the car. He helped me pair my 2 phones w/ the U-Connect system so I was able to get back on the road & not miss a beat from my old car's routine. More

Let me tell you something about, Marc Buschel. First of all I'm 59 years old, and I always had a bad experience with car salesman. Then three days ago I met Marc from Barbera's Autoland . Marc was able to answer all my questions that I had for him without hesitation, because there was a few things I looked up when I got home, because I forgot some of the answers. When I looked them up and saw the answer to the two questions I asked him. He made my wife and I so comfortable the time flew bye! Mark is very friendly "out of the gate"', also The Man has integrity, very smart and also he is a computer whiz! He made us feel like family! The reason I say that, he reminded me of an uncle I use to have! When I don't understand something I have been calling him on the phone and when I told him I feel bad for calling so much, he simply put mind to rest about that! I have never ever felt like this in all the years in buying cars! Marc is a great guy, he loves people and it shows! I will never deal with anyone else ever again! We have purchased many vehicles from Gary Barbera in the past so when my son and daughter wanted to look for new cars I took them to Gary Barbera's Autoland. After a test drive my daughter was not set on the car she wanted and wanted to come back another time to test drive other vehicles. My son was ready to negotiate. After about an hour and a half my son negotiated a price of $24,097 with Dave Hamilton. We tried to get the price lower but Dave said "That was it" and even wrote, underlined, and exclaimed this on the negotiation sheet. Purchasing a new vehicle is a big decision and my son was not sure if he should buy the car at that price so he decided to leave. When leaving we were told to think about it and to let them know if we change our mind. After a few hours of thinking about it my son decided to accept the offer so we went back to Gary Barbera. When we got there we were told to wait. When Dave finally came over he said the price is now $25,297! That's $1,200 more than the negotiated price. To our surprise Dave said there was no way he could go lower. When ask about the price quote earlier he refused to acknowledge his hand writing on the offer sheet he presented to us. He claimed we were confused. The only thing we were confused about was in trusting the Gary Barbera name as a reputable dealer in the Philadelphia area. I am not sure if all dodge dealers are negating like this but to me this is far from Good Faith Negotiation. This has definitely swayed me away from Gary Barbera and has left a negative feeling for the Dodge/Chrysler brand. The Gary Barbera slogan should be "Is Gary Barbera the best? I wasn't impressed!" It wasn't the car we wanted. How I found out that the salesman lied? His boss called me to bring in the car that was sold to me, and compare it to the stock number I wanted.*****************what did you just say, cause that is impossible it is sold to a someone before I bought mine. The Boss say that isn't true, and he is sorry the salesman lied. I have been complaining to everyone, so that this same thing doesn't keep happening to other that come in and are looking for their dream vehicle, and what the dealership thinks you need. Buyers beware they are liars here. Today i was told that i was giving free fabric coating and paint sealant. with in two minutes he changes it to we gave you 2900 off which was the fabric coating, next week it will be the brakes. One thing that they will also tell you is items installed at the dealership, and are on the window. They are not installed, until you agree to pay extra. This place is a scam The salesman had to give the the different car, as it was on the lot longer by a month. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING BEFORE YOU SIGN. IF THEY TELL YOU IT COMES WITH TIRES, GET THAT IN WRITING. THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF EVERYTHING. The boss tells me we gave you a car for $2900 of sticker, and a $2000 discount. The window sticker was 31878 we put $5000 down and the final price was 316000.00 We paid every dime for that car, even with their discounts removed. Best of luck I hope our salesman get fired he was so lazy. More

He agreed that was fine. .I show up to the dealership as agreed n then I'm told no you drove it for 20 mins that's enough time to see if u want the car or not More
