My son bought a GMC Sierra from Banks a few years ago and was very satisfied with the salesman and the price, so when I was in the market to replace my 2011 Chevy Silverado, I contacted Jordan the same perso was very satisfied with the salesman and the price, so when I was in the market to replace my 2011 Chevy Silverado, I contacted Jordan the same person my son had dealt with, and set up an appointment. I was looking for a 2024 GMC Sierra, double cab with a 6 1/2 foot bed. The local GMC dealer had only two that fit the description while Banks showed 16 in their inventory. I live an hours drive from Banks but thought it was worth the drive. Jordan showed me a couple of trucks and I decided on the 1500 Elevation. I received a fair price for my trade in and purchased the new truck for a competitive price. The new Sierra is an upgrade from the 2011 Silverado and provides a nice ride and has many nice features. I am very happy with the new truck and dealing with Jordan was a pleasant experience. More
I was disappointed recently with the service (or lack of it), I received at Banks. I decided to purchase a vehicle I was leasing from Banks and was told by the sales person that they would inspect my vehicl it), I received at Banks. I decided to purchase a vehicle I was leasing from Banks and was told by the sales person that they would inspect my vehicle and wash, vacuum and clean my truck as a new vehicle. I left my truck at Banks so they could perform the work and returned several hours later to pick up. Upon return to banks I sat with the sales person to compete the purchase paperwork. I was told my vehicle was ready. I left the dealership only to find that the truck was not processed or serviced. I did call the salesperson to let him know of my disappointment. More

He listened to all my specific wants and didn’t question me on them like the last dealership I’ve worked with. He walked me through each step of the way and showed me all the new features offered such as using the GMC App and activating Onstar. He genuinely asks questions to make the process not seem daunting as you are waiting and he even charged my phone when he noticed it was dying. More

I am completely DISSATISFIED with the service that I have received from Bank's Chevrolet. The sales person quickly showed me some of the features of the vehicle, including pairing my phone to the vehicle and received from Bank's Chevrolet. The sales person quickly showed me some of the features of the vehicle, including pairing my phone to the vehicle and then sent me on my way. As soon as I got home and turned the vehicle off, the phone unpairs from the vehicle and will not reconnect. I need to forget the device from the vehicle as well as forget the vehicle from my phone and start the pair process from the beginning every time the vehicle is turned off. I called the sales person and they gave me a couple of things to try, which did not work. I had multiple calls with the sales person, which turned out to be a waste of time. Finally he said he would have service call me to set up an appointment to get it fixed. I waited for a week.... and no call from service. So I had to call him again to get the appointment set up. The service department said they could provide a loaner vehicle since I live 45 minutes away. They called me the day before my appointment and canceled it because they did not reserve a loaner vehicle for me. They just said that one was not available. So we had to set up another appointment. I got a call that afternoon from the service department. He made it sound like it was an User error and it was my fault because I did not set up a User Profile in the vehicle. I found that odd, because neither the sales person, the service department or the user manual ever mentioned that as a potential problem. So I went back to the dealership to pick up my vehicle, which they did not do anything to. I asked the service person if he could go through setting up a User Profile with me, since I was already there and that is what they said the problem was. He seemed reluctant to help and then he admitted that he does not know how to set up a user profile. He did finally get in the vehicle with me and tried to stumble through it. To set up a user profile you need to be on WiFi. The sales person could not connect to the dealership Wifi.... he didn't even know the password. He went to check on the password and then had multiple additional failed attempts to connect. A message kept popping up which tried to get you to sign up for OnStar (which is very annoying by the way). He finally told me that you cannot set up a User Profile without having an active OnStar account, which did not sound right to me. I said to him..... are you telling me that I cannot have my phone stayed paired to my vehicle, if I don't have an active OnStar account? He said....Yes.. that's what I am saying. He then tried to rush me out as quickly as possible. Very disappointed that I just wasted the whole day and the problem was still not fixed....and pretty sure that the service guy was making it up because he did not know what he was talking about. So I drove back home and pulled into my driveway. I decided I would try to connect to my Home WiFi and see if I can set up a User Profile. I was able to connect to my Home WiFi network AND set a User Profile, without having an active OnStar account, so the service guy lied to me. It turns out not having a User Profile had nothing to do with it. I now have a User Profile set up and I still have the same issue. More
