My husband and I had the most pleasurable experience when purchasing our 2013 Nissan Rogue. The customer service that we received from Charles Baker was none like we have ever experienced before. His product knowledge was so superior as if he built the car himself. Not only was he very helpful in setting up our features in the Rogue, he also followed up with us regularly to make sure that we were happy with our purchase. I just wanted to comment on the excellent purchase experience my daughter and I had there last Friday while looking for a new car for her. I had worked with Rick Sanchez before and knew how easy he was to deal with. Rick and Charles worked with us and I was impressed with how they handled my nervous daughter, who was buying a new car for the first time in many years, to make sure she made the correct purchase decision as to type of car to best suit her needs. They were also very conscious of her financial situation when making their recommendations. Once she decided on her 2013 Rogue and the basic paperwork was done, she then met with Terrance in finance who also did an excellent job. All three gentlemen were great to work with the entire process from looking to test drive to final purchase was handled in a very friendly professional manner. Kudos to your business for doing business this way. I will definitely be back when I make my next car purchase and will refer others to your business without reservation. More

Purchased a 2007 Nissan Maxima on 09/27/13 car was not available due to minor service repairs that had to be completed, also the car had rims that needed to be removed. After driving the vehicle the salesman and I agreed that I was purchasing this car with the conditions that the tires are exchanged and the steering wheel that shook be repaired. The dealer assured me that the same tires would not be on the vehicle. I was given a loaner car, On Tuesday 10/01/13 the salesman Reginald called me to let me know that car was repaired. I was at work so I asked if he could drop it off which he did around 830p.m. Next day while driving the car the steering wheel continued to shake, called Reggie to let him know this, also the 2 front tires were bald with no tread. Took the car back to the dealership asked for the used car manager Mike and was given the runarounds about who I need to speak with. After 2 hrs Reginald shows up and the ball was then passed to him. He informed me that he would speak with a manager...Long story short a sales manager by the name of Dwane Cochenour pulled me in a office with a VA state police phone number to call to have the tires inspected and advised me that I could purchase new tires but none would be given. While Reginald stood there like a little puppy. Very unprofessional and upsetting when the sales guy gave me his word that the same tires would not be on the car. I paid the dealership all but 1000.00 which is owed in 45 days. I also will be writing Dan the Man with my concerns and have spoken with someone from Nissan Corporate Office, waiting on a callback. Not a good look Nissan Chesapeake. To be continued...... Friday 10/04/13 received a call from used car sales manager Mike, he stated that he would like for me to come back in so that he could inspect the tires himself. Once I arrived the car was taken to the inspection area were the head mechanic showed me what was required for tires to pass inspection according to VA state laws. I appreciated the time that was taken to show me this, but again this was not my reason for being upset. After speaking with Mike about what me and Reginald had verbally agreed upon, He came to the conclusion that I shouldn't be penalized because the org factory tires were dry rotted. I rode off of the lot with 2 brand new tires and a piece of mind. Next time I know to make sure that agreements are in black and white to avoid these types of problems. Overall I'm a satisfied and happy customer!!! Thank you Reggie and Mike for all of your assistance. P.S Dwane Cochenour could use a Customer Service refresher course. He apologized for our troubles and assured me that the vehicle we built through USAA car buying program would become a reality and not just a dream. He gave me a price and that is exactly what we paid when we came through the door. He greeted us with a smile and handshake as well as Gino Evans. Gino was so knowledgeable about the vehicle and went over all our paperwork so we understood the process. We could not believe how short the paper process was. I really liked him because he is a Dallas fan but outside of it all, he is just great at what he does. Terrence (our finance person) was very pleasant to work with and we had a lot of laughs with him. He claims he is learning the new job as finance manager but it seems like he has been doing that job forever. He discussed our terms for warranty options and let us go on our way. The dealership was able to secure our vehicle and bring it in from another state in 2 days so needless to say, I am driving my new Maxima and I love it. I am so fortunate to have met these guys and would definitely come back even though we have a dealer right around the corner from us. The facility is beautiful and comfortable. They make you feel at home and we are now part of the family. Thank you all for putting a smile on my face and reassuring me that you are what you said you are. It all started with a phone call and ended with a sale. What more can I say but "another happy customer". The car is just beautiful! After some bad service at another dealership, I went to Nissan of Chesapeake to see if I could receive help with a problem with my car. But my recent experience with Nissan of Chesapeake was such a breath of fresh air. All the folks I dealt with at Nissan of Chesapeake were awesome. Beginning and ending with Terence Benn who gave me all the time, information and feedback that I needed to support my car selection, and ultimately becoming a primary factor in my decision on where to purchase my new vehicle.The day I purchased my car, Terence had concluded 3 sales, and it is no surprise based on the level of customer service that he provides. Thank you, Terence! Alex Hargrow was incredibly easy to work with in doing price negotiations (almost exclusively via phone and email) and helped me to get the exact vehcile I wanted, with the right options and colors, with all available rebate and financing incentives, and at the out-the-door price I needed. This has usually been the most stressful part of a car purchase, but Alex made it simple and stress free. When it came to doing the paperwork and prepping the new car, Delvin Washington and Rick Sanchez continued to show me how Nissan of Chesapeake values each and every customer. The high level of service and attention is consistent up and down the organization. Nissan of Chesapeake totally changed my perception of a new car purchase experience. This is the absolute BEST dealership around. Everything was done via email with Alex Hargrow. I discussed how we had just purchased a dodge dart back in October and how a birth control fail landed us pregn was done via email with Alex Hargrow. I discussed how we had just purchased a dodge dart back in October and how a birth control fail landed us pregnant with a third child. Well a dart is a compact and there was no way we could have three kids in carseats in that vehicle. We negotiated a price on a brand new nissan quest with all the extras I wanted as well as a trade amount for my dart. I was sure something was going to go wrong once we got there, most car salesmen lie to get you into the dealership but EVERYTHING we discussed in the email stayed as previously discussed! I got 7,000 more for my trade than dealerships like Pomoco, Hall, and Dodge were offering me. Truly the BEST car buying experience of my life. The people here at the Chesapeake dealer are not regular car salesmen. They are people who truly care and truly give you the best! I recommend this dealership to EVERYONE!!!!!!! More
