I have been a loyal customer of Sheehy for years and have never had a problem with them until now. I love Sheehy and am a loyal customer (which is why I went to Sheehy to buy my car before I went anywhere e never had a problem with them until now. I love Sheehy and am a loyal customer (which is why I went to Sheehy to buy my car before I went anywhere else) but I am very disappointed in this aspect of their service. I was promised all scratches would be fixed on Sheehy's dollar as a stipulation of me buying the car. I drove 2 hours to get to Sheehy, took time off of work, wasting gas as well as time and I waited 2 hours in the waiting area (I was told it would take 15 minutes) to get my car back with the scratches more noticeable than they started out. My salesperson was Dakota who has not gotten back to me since the paint was supposedly "fixed". He knew that I was disappointed before I left and has not followed up with me to resolve the issue. Dakota did not do a good job selling the car or following up with me afterwards. I have never been sold a car so poorly. If you like Sheehy, don't go to the one in Marlow Heights! More

I would strongly advise against going to Sheehy of Marlow Heights based on my experiences there. You’ll get a good price, but it’s still not worth it. Note, this advice is coming from a bonafide cheepo. I Heights based on my experiences there. You’ll get a good price, but it’s still not worth it. Note, this advice is coming from a bonafide cheepo. I found the car I was looking for on autotrader.com (a 2009 Ford escape) and I was pretty sure that I had everything taken care of in advance. I arranged my financing but I could have paid cash, I agreed on a fair price and I had no trade in so I thought it would be a straightforward purchase. 1) Faster than Grandpa Although I arrived at 4:00 PM, I was there until past closing at 9:15 PM… 5 Hours! It seems that one of the employees was driving it around as a program car while I was waiting to buy it. While this was aggravating, when I received the car both the change oil light and the low tire pressure lights were on in the dashboard. The vehicle was undetailed and it smelled like smoke. They turned this vehicle over to a customer like this! Two days later the low tire pressure light came back on and I found a nice shiny nail in one of the beautiful Michellin tires. 2) We don’t need no stinking brake pads… When I was presented with the vehicle inspection report, it clearly stated that the rear brake drums only had 4/32 of pad left. This seemed low, so I called my brother who was a ASE Ford master mechanic in Florida for 8 years and he told me that for a 1 year old vehicle that type of wear on rear drums would warrant concern and that they should change them out and look for mechanical problems. I told this to the sales manager and his attitude was positively sarcastic. He said, “no way…you expect rear brakes to last 80,000 miles, that’s longer than the tires.” To put this in perspective, my last vehicle had over 125,000 miles on it when I changed them for the first time. This vehicle had 26,000 miles on it and was less than a year old. The sales manager refused to admit that this was a problem and addressed my concern by trying to make me feel like an idiot for even suggesting that at the least I would need new rear brake shoes. I walked out of the dealership over brake shoes, but mostly because I didn’t like being lied to. In retrospect, I was too tired to deal with this crap and I should have kept going, but I had driven over an hour and a half because they had a good price. Besides, my brother said that we could just put new shoes on together over Christmas if they dropped the price of the vehicle. Now wait, this gets better. When I brought the vehicle to my local mechanic the next day, we measured the rear drums together and they had 9/32 of pad left! Since brake shoes don’t grow, I can only assume that Sheehy’s mechanics never checked them in the first place! I told my salesperson about this and all I got in response was an awkward silence. 3) It’s not dirty, it’s cozy: The vehicle hadn’t been detailed properly before delivery- the next day I found myself cleaning the seats and interior plastics when I saw what a terrible job (if any) was done on the interior. In my own defense, it was getting dark when I first saw the vehicle. On the other hand, there were stains all over seats that were easily lifted by some Mopar Total Clean. As a customer I shouldn’t have had to do this though. 4) I sent your key in the mail with your Nigerian e-mail lotto winnings: The last straw for me was when I left the dealership at 9:15PM and I had forgotten the spare remote key at the dealership (these things are expensive!). When I told my salesperson about this, he told me that he would mail it to me. 1 month later…Still no key. It turns out they lost it. Or can't find it. At least they are consistent. It’s too bad that this happened and that some car dealers still treat customers like suckers. To restate, you have the potential to get a good price with Sheehy, but some things in life are worth the extra money. Like eating at a dirty restaurant or staying at a budget motel in a bad neighborhood, don’t risk it with as big of a purchase as a vehicle. More

He is a born salesman with the right attitude. More

My experience with Sheehy Ford's sales/finance team was the best experience that I have ever experienced during a car purchase experience. My initial contact with Jonathan Slaughter, he was both knowledge the best experience that I have ever experienced during a car purchase experience. My initial contact with Jonathan Slaughter, he was both knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He was very patient with me and my husband and did not pressure us into buying at all. This alone was impressive. I have had experience where you feel pressured, unprepared and just plain overwhelmed -- I was very relunctant to go car shopping and did not get involved with the experience at all, my husband always handled our car buying. I hated haggling, the pressure to buy out of your budget range and the hidden agenda that always showed up at the finance table. This time it was not like that, I explained my finaces and what I wanted and could afford and the Sheey Ford Team of Marlow Heights made it happen. My finance experience was unlike any I've ever exprienced. I left feeling like I got exactly what I was told from beginning to end. He discussed extended warranty's the pricing and the benefits and left it totally up to me and my husband to make the final call "without pressure" and we ended up with the best coverage to fit our specific needs. I believe his title is floor manager "Zil" he was always friendly and monitored the deal from beginning to end and he allowed each staffer to perform their jobs without taking over and flexing his authority. He let us know that he was there to assist his team in any way possible to bring our deal to a close and that's exactly what happend. Each team member did their job to perfection and always with the mindset of going the extra mile for customer satisfaction, something that is totally lacking in today's society. I hate spending my money when I have to deal with hostile, angry employees who seem like I'm an inconvenience for coming into their establishment at all. I was thoroughly impressed from the moment we drove onto the lot. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating, she acknowledge us as soon as we entered the showroom and let us know if there was anything we needed to make our visit a good one, just let her know. The experience was hard enough, due financial reasons it was best for me to down size on my vehicle. I originally drove a Lincoln and now own a 2010 Ford Fusion which I have grown to love and appreciate it high performnce and definitely the gas mileage alone is a big plus. When Jonathan originally mentioned it, I was very apprehensive about it and the more he talked and explained the benefits and the type of car that it was, I began to relax. When I saw that sleek black machine pull up, I was sold! But trust and believe I will be back in the future for two of my dream vehicles and they are the "Expedition" and another "Lincoln" but that in the future, but hopefully not to distant. In the meantime I will continue to enjoy my 2010 "Sleek Black" Fusion. I've had my first service on my Fusion and during my purchase we enrolled in the VIP service program. I unsure what to expect, but I thought, well they have done and held up everything that they said during my purchase process and now it's time to check out the "VIP" package. I was totally over the top when I took my vehicle in, they already had me registered. I went to a very crowed waiting room, but my wait time was almost non existent! When they called my name I thought there was a problem because it was such a quick turn around. My contact's name was Mike and he too had a totally professional and helpful manner about him. He smiled and said, Ms. Wiggins you are all done. I couldn't believe it, I said really, he replied of course you are one of our VIP customers. He smiled scheduled my next appointment and I was on my way to my next appointment for the day! Go Sheehy Team! I will definitely recommend Sheey Ford of Marlow Heights to family and friends and I will be a return customer for my future car needs! Thanks Sheehy Ford of Marlow Heights -- You have a GREAT TEAM from beginning to End! Sheehy Ford of Marlow Heights -- TOTALLY ROCKS!!! More
