Clearly the customer does not come first at this business. I had a 8am appointment; I dropped my vehicle off at 7am. After 6 or 7 hours I received no communication from my service technician (Asia D business. I had a 8am appointment; I dropped my vehicle off at 7am. After 6 or 7 hours I received no communication from my service technician (Asia Diaz) about my vehicle; I called 3 or 4 times and no one answered the phone. I was finally able to get someone on the phone in the service center about 4:30pm; he informed me that my assigned technician had left for the day; however, he was able to provide me status of my vehicle and they needed my authorization to complete the work. In addition, to complete the work parts needed to be ordered, and I would not be able get my vehicle back that day. The technician acknowledged he did not know why my assigned technician had not contacted me about my vehicle. As for the required work, I was told I needed new rotors. Keep in mind, the last time I had my brakes done at Banister I had to get my rotors replaced, so I was not convinced I needed new rotors. The next morning still no call from my technician, so I called about 9am. I spoke with the service center manager (Kelly Kinsey) to express my frustration to no avail. I explained that since dropping my vehicle off at 7am the previous day that no one had contacted me about my vehicle, and the status of my vehicle was not updated in the app. Also, I expressed my concern about the recommendation for new rotors and requested that someone explain to me why my vehicle would need new rotors after about 40,000 miles. The manager said that he would have the technician talk to me about the rotors when my vehicle was ready for pick up. I called back about 12pm to get status on my vehicle and was told the parts had not arrived but would be arriving by 1pm, and my vehicle would probably be ready by 4pm. Mind you, my vehicle has been at Banister for about 30 hours, and my assigned technician still has not reached out to me about my vehicle. About 4:30pm, I called (again) to check on the status of my vehicle; I was told my assigned technician had already left; however, he was able to find out that my vehicle was ready. No one contacted me to let me know that my vehicle was ready. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, there was no technician there to talk to me about the rotors (as the service manager said he would make happen). However, they did feel the need to leave my old rotors and brake pads on the floorboard of my passenger seat. I am no mechanic, but after looking at the old rotors, I do not see why I needed new rotors. I conclude with the customer service at Banister is very unprofessional, and I will using another establishment to service my vehicle. This is not a knee jerk reaction because my last experience at Banister was very similar. More
