LOW CLASS SHADY xxxxxxxx . I went to Ball Acura for a car quote as a costco member at the end of December. My husband, the costco card holder, had talked with the dealership c . I went to Ball Acura for a car quote as a costco member at the end of December. My husband, the costco card holder, had talked with the dealership costco rep and let them know the color, package etc of what I was interested in (which they did have) and was explicit that I would be financing the car on my own. The first issue I had was their inability to comprehend that I, a female, didn't need my husband to help me buy the car. During my maybe 20 total minutes of face to face conversation with the costco dealer (over the course of being at the dealer an hour), he asks me at least 3 times if my husband would be co-signing on the financing. Each time I made it very clear that he would not be involved and that it was only me. Even after they checked my credit and confirmed I had really good credit (better than my husbands) they continue to ask if he would be involved. Seriously? The second bigger issue that makes them low class shady xxxxxxxx was the process of evaluating my car as a trade in. I give them the car key so someone can take a look at my car only to discover that the person drives off with my car without my permission and were gone for around 10 minutes. I've been to the Kearny Mesa Acura dealer, Lexus dealership and Toyota and none of them felt the need to drive my car. And the xxx moment is when I get my car key back, my car registration is handed to me with it. xxx? Where did you get my car registration? The idiot shady xxxxxxx rifled through my car, again without permission to find it and and probably photo copied it!! Why don't you search through my purse while your at it??!! Another interesting thing is that I also had a business card from Kearny Mesa Acura that was in my car before i went into the dealership. When i left the dealership, the card was gone. LOW CLASS! Like i can't remember the sales person's name from Kearny Mesa Acura! Low class shady dealership! Save your time and go to Kearny Mesa Acura. Much classier, listens, and is much more respectful. The Costco deal is not worth dealing with Ball Acura. Definitely also left a negative review with the Costco car buying service. More
