Stay far away from this dealership. Sold us a used Volvo S60 that had a blown head gasket within 2 weeks of us purchasing it. Had to repeatedly fight with them to get it fixed. They do NOT return phone calls, and make it very difficult for you to try to resolve any issue. Finally got the car in, and they made us pay 25% of the total cost even though they originally told us they would cover it 100%. Totally went back on their word. Tried to email corporate office to complain. Secretary was beyond rude, and gave us wrong email address. When I called her back to tell her it was wrong, she corrected it in a very unpleasant manner. She then forwarded the email to the people at Balise that I was having the problem with. Why would I want it forwarded to them? They had given me the run around for 2 months, and had no interest in doing the right thing. Mike K, (service manager/owner) proceeded to call my house phone and my cell phone 7 times in less than 10 minutes. When I called him back, he accused me of harrassing the secretary (the one that I had to call twice because she gave me the wrong email address). This is laughable since he was the one harrassing me calling over, and over again. Will NEVER return to this dealership, and if you value any kind of customer service, I suggest you never go there either. I have made it so that noone i know will go to Balise VW. If you really want a Volkswagon, find another, more reputable dealership. More

After selling our GTI privately we test drove several makes and models...ultimately we came back to VW for our 6th time. We wanted a new Jetta, had to be standard with a sunroof - anything else was extra makes and models...ultimately we came back to VW for our 6th time. Within three days we had everything in writing with little haggling - the other dealers would not do that!! We traveled from northern NH to RI, 270 miles one way, met Chuck and Dennis, reviewed the offer...WITH NO SURPRISES, finalized the deal w/Stefan and in two hours drove away all smiles. More

We returned after investigating other opportunities to find Wade receptive & helpful with our decision to purchase a 2012 Jetta with a standard transmission. Wade shared & demonstrated information on all of the Jetta's features. He was extremely patient with our many questions and concerns. He gave us confidence that this was a correct choice. We were reassured to learn he drives a VW, too. Paperwork, etc. was explained & handled with care. We had a time issue requiring immediate delivery of a vehicle & were hopeful the online price would be honored & it was. All moved smoothly to our total satisfaction. We were told we could take the car home that night! We know if we have any technical or mechanical questions or needs, they will be handled quickly & professionally. We have learned their service personnel are on duty to meet the customer's schedule. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, & totally respectful in spite of our remaining after closing hour. We are grateful to Wade who sold "himself" through his attitude & demeanor, adding credibility to our buying a VW. We love our VW Jetta and the security of knowing that Balise will be there for us now & in the future. Any time we visit or require maintenance, we hope Wade is there. A family oriented man who understands the perspective of people like us or anyone managing the economy today. We feel welcome in the Balise community. I started shopping for a car about two weeks before I eventually bought a VW Jetta. I stopped and almost bought a car at Scott VW but by the time I finished getting held over the coals for not financing eventually bought a VW Jetta. My friend told me just to try Balise and I'm glad I did! I didn't get ganged up on right when I got out of my car like everywhere else. I walked in and was promptly greeted by Dennis and Justin who were so nice! Very refreshing! They seemed like they actually liked being there to help and had positive attitudes even with all my crazy questions. They had TONS of cars right there on their lot and had two of just what I was looking for! I left with the deal I said I was going to get and the car I wanted. Oh, and free maintenance! I don't think it could of went any smoother with the help of my sales associate Yaris Martinez who is very friendly , non pressuring, very knowledgable, and was able to deliver me the best deal out there. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing my golf Tdi and many dealers quoted me higher to much higher numbers on my new purchase. I'm still flabbergasted as to how they made any money. Yaris also made sure that once the deal was agreed upon that he got me out the door quickly as I requested him to do so. I've owned vehicles prior to the golf Tdi and honestly I couldnt be more pleased with the golfs looks, handling, and performance while still getting awesome mpg not to mention the diesels longevity.
