My experience with Yaris Martinez went very well .When i first went into the dealership i was very nervous as this was the first time in buying a new car in 15 years. And 40 years since i last bought a VW first went into the dealership i was very nervous as this was the first time in buying a new car in 15 years. And 40 years since i last bought a VW beetle in 1973. I told him i wanted to test ride a VW BEETLE DIESEL. I was able to take it for a good ride on I95 He answer all of my questions very well. He was very patience with me and not pushing me to buy right away. It took several weeks before i decided to buy. He look very hard trying to find a red beetle.All in all he is a good salesman ! My husband and I bought a 2013 Passat in November and were told by the salesman ( Yaris Martinez) and Financial officer ( Justin Fortner) that the " platinum plan" we purchased to service the vehicle wou were told by the salesman ( Yaris Martinez) and Financial officer ( Justin Fortner) that the " platinum plan" we purchased to service the vehicle would include free oil changes at 5,000 miles, 10,000 , 15,000 miles etc. When I called to schedule the appointment for the oil change at 5,000 miles the service technician " Stephanie" was fresh and abrupt with me on the phone, saying that can't be true because the new vehicles ( diesels) have a recommended oil change at 10,000 NOT 5,000. When I arrived for the appointment she said " I don't know why they are telling customer's that, it's not true." Two phone calls to Mr. Fortner for clarification have been unanswered. No courtesy. Subsequently, I made an appointment last week because the " blue tooth" was defective. They called me Tuesday 3/19/13 to tell me the part was in and wanted me to schedule an appointment with the service department. I was left on the phone, listening to music for so long I had to hang up and call back at another time. I will not recommend this dealership to family, friends or anyone. Michael K, the General Manager is by far 1 of the most Honest salesmen I have ever met. There are no hidden costs with him, he is a bottom line guy. He will give you the best deal he can, the first time. Yaris Martinez, I'll call him my personal Salesman, is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. Like Michael, no hidden agenda. These guys no there stuff and go above and beyond! You call him with a question and he actually calls you back that same day. He will do whatever it takes to make you happy. Personal service is what you can expect from him and it is what he delivers! Justin is there Finance man. Again, he is not going to sell you something you don't need. He gets you in and out as quickly as possible. He is great to work with. Thanks Justin. Then there is Al in service. Always with a smile. He also makes sure you are in and out as quickly as possible. Michael K is doing something right to keep this great crew of men. I owned a Mercedes prior to this, and can tell you I was never treated as nice as I was the first time we bought a volkswagon. 10 cars and 6 months later we are still doing business with the Wonderful Crew of salesmen at Balise. I've always been a Nissan guy, but all my friends seem to have VW's so I had to check them out and they all told me to go to Balise and it was great. I received a letter from Balise VW with a few specials for their service department. What a pleasant surprise when I arrived! I usually brought my Passat to another dealer, but I was disappointed with my for their service department. What a pleasant surprise when I arrived! I usually brought my Passat to another dealer, but I was disappointed with my last couple of services; they really weren't listening to what I was telling them and weren't considerate of my time. I don't know how they knew I was due for service, but I made an appointment when I got the coupons. Bill (who is the service manager) greeted me by my name when I drove in, took note of my concerns and my car was in and out of the shop while I waited a very reasonable amount of time!! Very happy I tried Balise and definitely will be back! Thanks Bill!!! More
