Bought an used 2006 Chevy HHR from them, got a good price, was very happy until...we asked them to wait to register the vehicle as we had temporary plates that lasted 20 days and immediately after buyi price, was very happy until...we asked them to wait to register the vehicle as we had temporary plates that lasted 20 days and immediately after buying the car had some major vet bills that we had to pay. Talked to Frank about it, who said it was no problem. So, finally payday comes around and I called Frank to ask him to go ahead and register the vehicle the next day. No problem, I was told, it would be done and we could come buy and pick up the paperwork or he would mail to us. Told him we'd prefer to pick it up as it's not far away from us. He said he'd call when he had the paperwork. Called Thursday evening as I had not heard from him, was told the person who actually goes to the registry had the paperwork and he would get it from them and call me Friday. No call Friday. I called Saturday afternoon, left a message to call me back. No return call. A few hours later I called again and was told Frank was still busy so I spoke with Joe, wanting to confirm at least that the vehicle was registered. (Now the temporary plates were expired and we had put on our transferred plates.) I kept getting an answer that they didn't know if it had been registered and wouldn't know until Monday. Joe got very rude when I started asking why it hadn't been done and that it was my fault for having them wait. My point was if it couldn't be done on Thursday they should have let me know and I or my husband could have registered the vehicle ourselves Thursday or Friday. Joe was so rude I finally got to talk to Chris, the service manager. Nice, but basically came down to it wouldn't be registered until Monday and if I got pulled over by a police officer I should tell them to talk to the dealership. So, they have taken what was originally a very positive buying experience and left me frustrated, irritated and never wanting to buy another car there again. Pity, because we need to replace our other car by next spring and I know I won't be buying it from them. More
I just purchased my third Kia, now a 2010 Soul - this time from Bald Hill Kia. Of all of the dealerships I've been in between RI and MA, I can honestly say I trust Bald Hill and recommend them wholehear time from Bald Hill Kia. Of all of the dealerships I've been in between RI and MA, I can honestly say I trust Bald Hill and recommend them wholeheartedly! There is no pressure to buy, no sales pitches to buy extras, and prompt responses to my emails/phone calls. Al and Frank are the best! I've also used the service dept for my last Kia and the service was exceptional there as well! More
Bought a car in early 2008 and the dealership inadvertently listed the wrong lienholder (Citizens Bank) on my title (which was no big deal). However, during the last year and a half Citizens Ban inadvertently listed the wrong lienholder (Citizens Bank) on my title (which was no big deal). However, during the last year and a half Citizens Bank sent my title back to Bald Hill THREE separate times insisting that they were not the lienholder, and all three times, the Finance Manager Frank Vescera signed off on it and just kept sending the title back to Citizens. Then in September of 2009 I got a threatening letter from the DMV that there was a wrong lienholder listed on my title and that if I did not return the title to the DMV, that I would not be allowed to re-register my car. I immediately called Bald Hill, faxed them a copy of the letter from the DMV, faxed them another letter explainging about their initial mistake, etc., and I left a few voice mail messages for both the Finance Manger Frank Vescera and the owner Jim Hagan, seeking their assistance (as they were the ones who caused all of this), and neither of them have had the courtesy to look into the matter for me or at the very least, call me back. They have both ignored my phone calls, faxes, and voice mails over the last four weeks. I have had no return phone calls from either of them, and I ended up going to Citizens Bank myself to get this straightened out. Terrible customer service due to 1) their initial error of listing the wrong lienholder, 2) their returning the same title back to Citizens three additional times despite Citizens claim that they were not the lienholder, and 3) not assisting me with getting this matter straightened out or even returning my calls. More

I needed a used car and wanted something not too expensive (not much of a car person). Mike helped me look in my price range and didn't try to sell my beyond my price point. I had been looking for a small SUV when I test drove a Kia Sportage. I immediately loved it. I was looking for a 2008 with low mileage. After searching the internet I found the vehicle I was looking for at Bald Hill Kia at the price I wanted. Being from MA I was worried about using a RI dealership, but I began working with Mike Sorkin at Bald Hill Kia. We made an appointment for me to see the vehicle on a Saturday. I loved it, signed the papers that day, and Mike arranged to register my new Sportage in MA on Monday and delivered it to me on Tuesday. I also had my financing in place when I arrived at Bald Hill, but the finance manger was able to secure me a rate 2 percent lower than my credit union. This was the best experience I could ask for. I will recommend Bald Hill Kia to anyone looking for a new vehicle, and specifically Mike Sorkin. More
