Rebates "The only thing I would say I didn't appreciate was that the salesmen told me they were offering a lot of rebates on the 2016 Sonata right now. So whe "The only thing I would say I didn't appreciate was that the salesmen told me they were offering a lot of rebates on the 2016 Sonata right now. So when we sat down to discuss price I noticed the rebate was not very much. When I asked him why that was he told me ""well we don't have many of this particular car in stock, so we aren't offering as many rebates as I thought."" I felt like I was being tricked. I did however, drive off with the new car. With the terms I wanted,eventually. I'm happy with the car and I do appreciate everything Bernie did to help me, and he was very professional. I know he tried his hardest and he was very kind. I just wish you would train your sales associates to be 100% clear on what the rebates are on a day to day basis. They should know how many of those cars are on the lot and if that affects the rebates or not. Personally when I hear ""really great rebates right now."" I'm thinking at least $2000.00 off, not the $1000.00 they initially offered me. I would have been happier knowing up front it was a $1000.00 rebate being offered, rather than going through everything and thinking I'm going to get much more. That was my biggest let down. Everything else was very good. Thank you Bernie for all you did to help me, I know Steve and I were a tough sell...but you and your staff pulled it off." More
