Fantastic service and coordination with Paul Morgan and Jason Langley in service. Im living in Germany. I have purchased a 370z and will have it shipped to Germany. Was told by another customer, Jason to contact Paul Morgan. I did so and have been treated with the best care and information flow. Living so far away can cause problems. Not in this case. The service the car needed and the extra's I asked for were taken care of promptly and with the a great positive spirit and attitude. I will do business with them again. Including a new or used car even if Im still based here in Germany. If lived in Houston, no matter how far away, Baker would be my dealer. Before buying this vehicle i hated going to dealerships, but dealing with Dain has changed the way i feel. He was friendly, able to get a tough deal done and most important, honest. I live 54 miles from Baker Nissan North. I felt as if Carl was the best salesperson that I dealt with. I have been in sales for 28 years and he is a real pro. There was a point where I was considering the Chevy Equinox instead of the Nissan Rogue. Carl said he would arrange to have the two vehicles side by side to make the comparison, we did not do that but I was impressed that he was willing to go that far. In my life I have owned 4 Nissan Pathfinders ( still driving a 2002 with 95K miles ) 1 Nissan Frontier and now the Nissan Rogue. Carl should be a trainer for all Nissan salespersons. When I arrived he had everything lined up and ready to go. I was in and out in a little over an hour. The finance person was excellent as well. More
I recently purchased a new vehicle via e-mail due to me working in Iraq. When my wife went to pick it up the VPP price increased by over $1,700! I e-mailed Brad Baker back in April and have yet (27/May) still to received any response on anything. Accessories added are; Splash guards ($130), Floor/cargo mats ($195), Nav ($1,850), Roof rails ($195), Rear bumper protector ($100), delivery ($750, $250 more than agreed upon). Apparently unwanted tint was added also. So, $41,800 minus $39,487.98 is, $2,312.02. Subtract the roof rails and bumper protector, $295, and the extra $250 for transfer that leaves; $1,767.02. So where/what is the extra $1,767??? Also what is Protection Plus ($299)? [i]Wife[/i] explained that InTire ($315) covers tire and wheels protection? I was also told that [i]wife[/i] would just have to come in and sign some paper work, have the all the accessories explained throughly and she would be on her way. We were under the impression that this would only take at most an hour, not spending four hours. She made an appointment to be there at 3:00pm and everything should have been ready. I was originally contacted for my purchase from Tom Peacock and e-mailed Brad to give him my business. My complaint lies within the financing dept and lack of commutation once I pointed out a concern. If the increase was justifiable I wanted it to be explained. It wasn't and Brad is "refunding" the difference. I feel it still could've been handle better. These are my concerns/complaints and you (future customer) have to make a judgement yourself wether to give/continue business with Baker Nissan More
Deceptive in sales practice. Quoted $20,282 for new car, confirmed price 3 times, all 3 visits & over phone. When it was time to sign papers they did what I call "bait & switch". The papers they tried to get me to sign stated $3000+ higher. They admitted they made error in original quote and were not in the business of losing money & would not stand by original quote. Linden then quoted $21,700 and UV came in & said no, he was not losing money on the deal. He was very arrogant. Why offer me something you can't deliver...twice at this point. If I wanted the car it was going to cost me $23,372. I offered to split difference in THEIR error. Again no. I left & they never attempted to stop me from leaving or attempt to gain my business. I called to speak w/Mr. Baker and he was always (1) on the phone, (2) out to lunch, (3) in a meeting. I finally left him a voice mail requesting a call back but never received one. I was hoping we could reach some type of sales agreement but it never happened. Yesterday I had the privilege of driving my new Nissan to Baker Jackson & personally speaking to UV. I purchased same model-color-options elsewhere. UV was again arrogant. I told him he was very disrespectful. He said they would have sold me the car. He had the audacity to tell me they offered the car to me for $22,500 which is completely untrue. They never made any additional counter offers or attempts to work with me in resolving the incorrect original quote. More

We purchased a certified Nissan Maxima and within a day was unhappy with the comfort (we have pre-existing back conditions). We returned to the dealership the following day and UV was VERY rude and told us was unhappy with the comfort (we have pre-existing back conditions). We went home and researched our options and found on the Baker Jackson website that that all certified Nissans from Baker Jackson has a 72 hour return guarantee. We returned to the dealership and explained to Rick (the GM) that we were not happy with the car and would like to get our trade back. We even offered to buy back our trade. Rick agreed to take back the Maxima after we showed him a print out from the website about the guarantee. We were repeatedly told our car was sent to auction. I clearly asked how they could send a car to auction if the pay off had not been made. They would only trade us into a different vehicle. Rick agreed to allow us to take home another vehicle to ensure we were happy before we signed papers. They removed the price stickers and we took the car home for the night. When we returned the next day we went straight to the finance office where they up charged the price of the car from the sticker price. Rick corrected the price and even reduced the warranty cost for us. A week later we found that Baker had our trade on their website. They blatantly lied to us. With that said, I have mixed reviews about Baker. I'm very thankful Rick allowed us to change vehicles but I cannot believe how terrible the overall experience was for us. Baker's motto is "drive away different". We definitely did and will NOT be back. More
Carl Baker and UV Vanunu worked with me on the monthly payments to get them to a price I could afford. Claude Alexander was very patient with me discussing the finance extra options. They all stayed WAY past closing time to make sure I was happy with the sale. I think it was around 11:30PM when we finally wrapped up. (Closing time was 9:00PM.) The next day I went back to the dealership and requested they change the wheels for the cheaper ones. I like the look of the cheaper ones much better. Carl and Rick Anchando made sure I got the wheels that I wanted even though I had already signed the papers purchasing my car the day before. Mario Flores made sure the wheels were changed properly and quickly. I can't tell you how impressed I am with Carl. He walked me through each step of the sale, the purchase of parts for my car, and the changing of the wheels. He was very patient, kind and thorough even though it was very late. I will definitely recommend Carl Baker and Baker Nissan North. I look forward to years of great service with all of these guys. Thanks to all of you...Carl, UV, Claude, Rick and Mario. See you soon.
