I will start by saying we treat any and all customers with respect and honesty and always strive to maintain great customer service. That being said we made every attempt to offer the vehicle you came in interested to purchase as well as clarify any misinterpretation you feel you may have had from your initial visit. After the first phone conversation with Ms. Ellis you did receive a selection of available units including the online unit at the advertised price to which you did not respond. The details of the correspondence have been posted below. Good Afternoon ! I have listed out current options on the 2017 Altima that are in the price range you are comfortable with – The first option would be the 2017 Altima listed for the 18895.00 internet price , This would be the lowest drive out price and TT&L is not included in the total however you can choose to roll this into the loan or pay how you wish . We are not able to do 17,000 on the vehicle as the MSRP is over 22,000 we would be paying the additional 5,000 to cover the actual base price to sell it to you for the 18895.00 . So that is the best and final on the particular vehicle . However I have the following 2016 units for your review . I really hope we can but understand if not . Although your first time here was not as we would want we truly value the time you spent here and for choosing Baker Nissan to purchase a vehicle . We believe each person should be treated in a respectful manor and feel we are working toward the goal of them feeling they were taken care of and would return in the future for all the vehicle needs of course . When you called back into the dealership 5 days later Ms.Ellis was on another phone call and at that time you were transferred to another member of management and immediately began to claim that we were price gouging .We assured you that we do not practice that here, and that we would gladly sell any vehicle at the advertised price with no questions asked. Then you continued to state that we were lying, and repeatedly asked what we were going to do to compensate you. We asked repeatedly what specifically you were looking for in compensation, and you stated that you wanted some form of financial assistance towards another dealership in town. We explained that we are a privately owned store, and that we do not have any business relationships with other dealerships in town, at which time you very became irate and demanded additional compensation. At that point we felt that it would be best that you shopped elsewhere, because it was clear that we could not address the issue of compensation directory with you. We did inform you that our reputation with customers and with Nissan was more important than selling a car at all costs to someone who would be upset regardless of the outcome and suggested that you shop one of the other local area Nissan stores to see if they could make you happy. At the very end of the conversation you stated that you had purchased a car at another store and wanted financial credit at another Nissan store given to you by us. We declined, and you began to threatened to report us to the BBB, all social media, news stations, and the attorney general if we did not give you the financial credit at another store. We felt that you were holding negative reviews and press against us for personal financial gain. We completely agree that you have the freedom to write any reviews and pursue additional conversation thorough other mediums , and if you choose to do so, we could be reached via phone or email any time by anyone that would care to discuss the issue, and you were given direct Executive Management contact information.

Good afternoon , I am sorry the experience you had was not a great one , Baker Nissan values each individual that comes in the door and our goal is always to get you in the vehicle you desire at the price that fits your budget . Unfortunately The miscommunication on Drive out and the TT&L not reflected was the driving point on your issue . TT&L is always presented in the dollar figure amount when finance inputs the agreed sale price and terms and any discounts , rebates and down payment as they can get a better rate thru out the process which impacts your total purchase price as that includes the APR total . We only input a customer's credit one time and see what bank has the best rate for our customer and terms . We do present multiple bank offers to a customer as some prefer other banks regardless of interest rates. The Finance manager was able to get you a better APR rate once you were in his office and able to include the GAP coverage and wanted to advise the pricing value of it . Your payment was lower with the added benefit and we apologize if at any point there was any misinterpretation or anything was not clarified to make you feel at ease .
