I purchased a 2018 Ford Edge with 75,000 miles on it on December 13th, 2024. Not even 24hrs later, the check engine light came on stating misfire on bank one. Went to the parts store purchased 4 plugs and 4 coil packs. Changed them out thinking no big deal car has high mileage. I noticed they had been RECENTLY changed. Car cycled the check engine light off in a few days. Then it came on again, same issue, popped the hood thinking maybe I did not tighten the coil pack wires enough, ran rough like it was going to stall. Cycled the check engine light off a few days later. 3 weeks go by with this issue every 2-3 days, then comes the almost not starting and pure white smoke rolling out the exhaust all the while barely starting any time I had to drive it. Extremely rough starts, idling so rough while pouring white smoke (contacted dealer NUMEROUS times with no help) All they wanted me to do was purchase their warranty and then wait the 30 days to file a claim (that's suspicious). Now to the antifreeze issue.... there was none in the radiator!!!...why you ask? because this dealer sold me the biggest xxx with a cracked head! Hence the fouled plugs, bad coil packs, the misfiring and the no starting at all!!!! I had a reputable shop diagnose it stating that the head has been cracked for a while and that the dealer most likely knew it. Oh and it burns oil like nobody's business!!! After numerous phone calls, hundreds of texts and sending videos to the dealer people they refused to help me. The first time it overheated was about 3-4 weeks in, I pulled over and called the dealer in tears, still no help! At one point, the manager at the Freemont location offered to have it towed but would need it for weeks and would not allow a loaner. I cannot afford to rent a car. My daughter and I are relying on this car, and having it run and start sometime was better than not having a car at all! Vegas is a small town, and I have spoken to several people who have purchased cars form BAJA Motors and have had similar issues. So far between the money down, oil, antifreeze (gallon every few days), a battery jump box, car payments, car insurance, paying a mechanic to diagnose it, the plugs/coil packs, UBER/Lift rides and registering it, I am out almost $4000 for a car that still has a loan on it and is sitting in the parking lot of my condo with a cracked head and will not stay running! Only lucky thing, my car insurance has roadside, so the three times it stranded me, it did not cost me anything to have it towed home or jump started. This car is financed, and even the finance company has filed a complaint with BAJA Motors on my behalf. Today is April 11, 2025 and after the finance company filed this complaint all of a sudden the dealer wants me to call them and NOW they are willing to help... Too little TOO LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am done with this car and the anxiety it has given me over the last few months! BTW the only reason they even get a star, is because it would not let me post without giving at least one! DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE They have a D+ on the BBB site!!!! More

And they changed the price to $15000 plus my $3,500 down payment Plus after my 36 months of payments I have to pay $1,200 more dollars if I want to own the vehicle. I didn't agree to any of this let alone was I explained any of this or told any of this then when you try to go back to them and ask them what this is all about they lie and say oh we explained it to you which they never did they're fraudulent company and I plan on making sure that everybody knows on social media local media and any kind of federal and government site I can find. then I took the car to have an inspection done because there was clearly some mechanical issues wrong with the suspension and there are major problems underneath the car that they obviously patched and it will cost thousands of dollars to fix they took advantage of me because I'm a woman because I was the first time buyer and because I went in alone. they should be ashamed of themselves especially the salesman Kevin Bell at the Fremont location and their manager Eddie shame on you! More

Today Baja Auto Sales was extremely impressive. I brought my friend in to handle some business on vehicle she purchased from there and as I was leaving, my 2018 Jeep SUV wouldn't start. It was showing signs my friend in to handle some business on vehicle she purchased from there and as I was leaving, my 2018 Jeep SUV wouldn't start. It was showing signs of possibly a weak battery but was saying "Serv ESC System" and "4WD Unavailable" on the screen. The manager and another employee came out to see if they could assist. I already felt bad my vehicle was right in front for this extended period of time. All Baja cared about was consumer happiness and extremely great customer service. These two guys came out with a couple jumppacks, they even pulled up a V8 to see if the additional Juice would help get my little SUV going. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU NEED A VEHICLE GO TO BAJA AUTO SALES!!! It's very VERY rare to find this kind of elevated customer service, even though I WAS NOT A CUSTOMER. 5 Stars Baja!!!! Thank you so much everyone! My issue: I sat for about 2 hours waiting for a tow to a dealership and a friend of mine suggested I try the Fob trick, same as when the battery in the Fob is low, you can press the Fob against the side of your steering column (symbol indicated) and the car will recognize the Fob even if the battery is dead. My car fired right up and I drove home safely. I am swapping out my Fobs and replacing batteries asap. More

I paid $4000 cash down on my vehicle which didn't make it 12 hours off of the lot before the fuel pump went out. Absolutely no customer service! More

Marty has always been trustworthy, doesn’t pressure you and works very hard for his customers. So after 16 years and with over 225K miles later, I said good-bye to my 2005 Escape, which Marty originally sold to me in San Diego, and drove off in a “new” 2017 Rav4! The vehicle “felt” right, is quiet, roomy, has low miles and I got it at a fantastic price! Thank you Eddie and Marty for your wonderful service!!! More
