I visited Schaeffer BMW to have my present vehicle serviced and to possible look at a new one for my son. I was standing in the show room listening to the OWNER and her SON describing a previous cust serviced and to possible look at a new one for my son. I was standing in the show room listening to the OWNER and her SON describing a previous customer in a way that was not fit to be talking about in the dealership. I wish that I knew who that customer was so that I could tell them about how they were speaking of her. They were talking about her bad credit right out on the show room floor. I will never be back to see this dealership for service or to purchase another car from them. More
After 3 visits and hundreds of dollars later, the original problem was diagnosed. They replaced unnecessary parts and during the second visit, after much research, I suggested they check the MAF sen original problem was diagnosed. They replaced unnecessary parts and during the second visit, after much research, I suggested they check the MAF sensor and they never did. On the third and final visit they determined the MAF was bad and requested another $500 + for parts/labor for the repair and would not allow credit for the un-needed repairs I had already made. I thought I was doing the best thing by taking my BMW direct to the dealer for repair but I was wrong. Don't waste unnecessary spending and time by going to this Dealership for service. More
