We brought our 1994 740i for transmission service. The lead tech locked the car for the night and the next morning forcefully turned the key in the door broke the lock and the plastic off of the key. Kevin said quote "your car your responsibility" and wanted to charge $700 to fix it. Also while the tech brought the car for a test drive, got a flat tire. Again, this time Patrick said "old tire not our responsibility it is $231 for a tire". We ended up taking the car from them with a flat still on the car as they wouldn't even put the spare on. We then took it to a tire place where it cost $89 for a new tire. The door still doesn't open and it has been over a month. I offered to go halves on the door even though I thought they should have paid for it and Kevin wouldn't even consider it. I feel that Kevin talked down to me because I am a woman and the car was not bought from them. This is an older car with some issues but I didn't need BMW-West Springfield to make things worse! I would not recommend BMW-West Springfield to anyone! More
WORST experience of my life! I bought a BMW from them and 3 payments into it the transmissions blows and they tell me the only thing they can do is offer to buy it back from me for wholesale MINUS the cost o 3 payments into it the transmissions blows and they tell me the only thing they can do is offer to buy it back from me for wholesale MINUS the cost of the transmission and then roll all of the negative equity from the loan into a new loan for another car from them! I could not get the owners to call me back and no one in the place calls you back, I had to keep calling and leaving messages and then when I finally got a hold of someone, they tell you, "Oh, I was just calling you." When I bought the car, they told me that they went through it with a fine tooth comb and that they gave the previous owner extra money on the trade-in because of the condition. You would think after this pitch that they would have stood behind it but they told me that, "We gave you 30 days so we don't have to do anything else." I will never make the mistake of buying a car from any of the gengras dealers again! EVER! More
I have been a customer of BMW West Springfield since 2007. Anytime you deal with an issuse like a car you are going to have problems at some point. It is not the problem it is how it is handled that you care about. I got a great deal on my 2009 535xi from Grant. I waited a long time for the right car and the right price. Grant never tried to rush the situation he waited and got me what I wanted. He could have tried on mutiple occasions to try to sell me but did not. I would for sure buy another car there. On the service side, Kevin runs a great department. When you are dealing with expensive cars that sometimes break its frustrating. They are always friendy and keep me informed. They have gone above and beyond what you would expect to keep me coming back. If there is not a BMW loaner there is always a rental waiting. The have picked my car up at my office and have given me rides when needed. They have good willed stuff that has not been covered under warranty. I am confident going forward that if there is a problem they will get it fixed. Situations arise with cars that are frustrating and sometimes not ideal. They have always done the right thing. More
I was having battery trouble. The service rep told me that it was because i don't drive my car far enough to work. I guess i live to close. The rep told me i was better off riding my bike to work. The only shining star at the bmw dealer is Mike Gauvin. He has gone out of his way to make the experience with the dealership better in every aspect from the sale to the service. So when i went to pick up my car after they had for three days i gave them back the present that they left me in the loaner underneath the passenger seat, a empty coors light beer bottle. If you are gonna buy a car from only buy it from Mike he seems to be the only person that can get things done in there. As for the service you might really want to consider looking else where. The service rep that i have been dealing with has tried to help me but her co workers have done nothing to help her, they chimed in to many times with too many wrong answers. More
I purchased a X-3 from this dealership about two and half years ago and have dealt with Patrick Higgins on most of my service related issues and he has been very professional and courteous. I have had a few years ago and have dealt with Patrick Higgins on most of my service related issues and he has been very professional and courteous. I have had a few issues with the X-3 and Patrick has provided me with a loaner car and phone calls to update me on the service that has been done. Overall, I would recommend this BMW Dealership to anyone and if you feel the need call on Patrick. More

I called and talked with Nicole who said just bring it in and we will get you in and out. I called a bit later and left her a message I would be in earlier and the time. Upon my arrival, she took care of me immediately and also checked my tires and other stuff. I also inquired about a ski rack. She amazingly got the info and serviced my car while I waited and had a cup of coffee. They even washed and cleaned my rims and they look great. My experience was great and Nicole was the best. Have brought my car in 3 times and have never been happy with. Setting up an appointment is next to impossible since the phone is never answered and voicemails never returned. Brought my car in once to have the drivers door window regulator replaced and was told it would be done by 5 pm that same day since it was a common problem and they had assured me the part was in stock. 5pm came around that same day and I still had not received a call so I called but of course no one picked up or returned my voicemail that day so my car was left over night. The following day I assumed someone would call and let me know about my car but I was clearly holding out too much hope so I called again with no answer so I continued to call repeatedly until someone answered. Finally got through but surprise, they had no idea who I was or why my car was in. Once the service manager finally got a handle on the situation he told me my car would definitely be ready by the close of business that day. Once again never got a call at the end of the day and had to go another day without my car. So far two days without the car for a one day job with no calls to update or offers of service loaner. The third day rolled around and again by noon not even a call for an update so at this point I was fuming. After numerous calls yet again I was finally answered and told that they were "stuck" and didnt know how to fix it because a weld at the bottom of the window track was busted and it would need to be welded to continue with the fix. What!?!?!?!? I told them to fix the car and they tell me what the have found but say they cant fix it? I ask why and they say they dont have the equipment to weld (this was at the new facility in 2010 by the way) and would need to take it to a body shop to get it welded. So if thats what needed to be done then go do it!!! I brought the car in to be fixed, they tell me what needs to be done to get it fixed, but dont know how to get it done? After verbally assaulting all parties they finally agreed to take it somewhere to get welded and would have it finished by the end of the day. would you believe that after all of this that again they never called me later that day so finally I got a ride over to the dealership before closing to find out that indeed the car was done. Thanks for the call!!! the bill then came and i see that they tried to charge me for an off site visit to the tune of $150. Obviously there was no way I was paying for this and had to raise xxxx again just to get the charge taken off the bill. Finally I was ready to leave so they brought my car around and surprise, it was not only not washed but it was even dirtier. This was all only one of my experiences, the two other followed very similar tunes. Over all the worst dealership experience ever, I now drive 40 min to hartford instead and love it there. DO NOT GO TO BMW WEST SPRINGFIELD!!! More
Buy your car here but go somewhere else for service. I had to have my car towed to the dealership (I live in NH over an hour away) after it wouldn't start. I asked if I could get a loaner and they told me there were none available. It's been there for 5 days now and every time I call to find out the status of my vehicle I'm told they'll look into it and call me back. Well they never call back, and then when I do they act like they don't even know who I am and they have the audacity to ask me if I have one of their loaner vehicles. Of course I don't have a loaner you told me there were none available. The people are nice enough but they never follow through and they take forever. It took them 7 hours to change and rotate my tires one day. More
I had a difficult problem with my ABS/DSC system. warning lights came on . Two sensors were replaced , and ultimately the abs computer had to be replaced. the work was done correctly and properly. The facility is only about a year old, with modern equipment with a well trained staff.I do not understand the previous ratings. My experiences with them have been just the opposite. More
