Replacement of a tire on new car Just purchased a new BMW X3. Less than 300 miles. We have a nail in the tire. We were told the tires have no warranty because they are Bridestone an Just purchased a new BMW X3. Less than 300 miles. We have a nail in the tire. We were told the tires have no warranty because they are Bridestone and not Pirelli's. Apparently, Pirelli's have the warranty and Bridgestones do not. We were never told when we were offered the additional tire warranty that the tires on our BRAND new car were not covered by BMW. I was than told that when I buy the replacement brdigestone, it is covered because I am purchasing it from BMW. I told them I bought the car from them so why are the tires on the car now not covered? I understand the issue but this is ridiculous when you purchase a 40k to 50k dollar car. My issue is the service showed no empathy, did not offer a discount on the new tire or any concession. We have dealt with Theo in the past. He is awesome. The person we worked with today needs to be a bit more emphatic and understanding of their customers. This includes the service manager. More
