Excellent customer service I was referred by a very good friend of mine to see Robin in the Service Department. My check engine light was on so I called to setup an appointment I was referred by a very good friend of mine to see Robin in the Service Department. My check engine light was on so I called to setup an appointment. She was able to get my car in for service and into a BMW loaner without any issues. She called later that day to provide me a status and said my car would be ready tomorrow as a part needed to be ordered. She let me know that the next day was her late day and would call me as soon as she got in. I received a phone call around the time she arrived and said my car was ready for pickup (washed and cleaned). She definitely cares about her customers because I brought up another issue unrelated and she had me speak to Jason (?) the shop foreman. Definitely, an asset to the BMW of Sterling Service Team! Thank you for making my experience wonderful! More

Felix gave us time, patience and truly wanted us to have an exceptional experience. And he made it FUN! Hes a great listener and helped me make optimal choices for me. I worked with Sean Spicher in service for some follow up items, and his communication and attention to detail were outstanding. Both Felix and Sean followed up, stayed available for questions, and showed such professionalism. After owning multiple cars in the past, I can confidently say these two and BMW are my favorite thus far- I highly recommend!! More
Outstanding Work on the BMW 7 at Sterling Sean Spicher was fantastic as usual. Informed me of what I needed to pass inspection. Rear brakes were fixed perfectly. Incidentally, the price to do Sean Spicher was fantastic as usual. Informed me of what I needed to pass inspection. Rear brakes were fixed perfectly. Incidentally, the price to do this was NOT MORE EXPENSIVE than what Virginia Tire and Auto was charging for new rear rotors and brake pads. So ultimately I decided to stick with the BMW dealer who has serviced and knows my car well. Be careful with "non-dealer" chain shops or even private mechanics- you may pay as much or more and still not have the confidence of knowing BMW service people who work on BMW's all day are truly looking after your expensive investment! Trust Sean and the good folks at Sterling. More
Beware the sales tactics and last-minute fees Buyer beware - you will be told a price of a car, with an already exhorbitant $599 "processing fee," then you will be promised over the phone that the Buyer beware - you will be told a price of a car, with an already exhorbitant $599 "processing fee," then you will be promised over the phone that the only other fees are "taxes, title, that's it!!" before making the investment in time to come in and spend two hours test driving a car and going over records, imperfections and so on. Then when you sit down to finalize the deal on the numbers you have already discussed and agreed on, the sales guy pulls out this laminated sheet with the "mandatory $495 protection package." I seriously felt like I was on the set of Fargo sitting across from Jerry Lundegaard trying to sell me Trucoat. Needless to say when I told him that I wasn't paying that fee for nonsense I didn't need, the sales guy disappeared to "go talk to the manager" and came back ashen-faced to tell me that no, they couldn't take off that additional $495 I wasn't told about, but they could knock it down by half. I nicely told them to get bent and went on my way in search of the many BMW dealers I have dealt with in the past that do not pull this nonsense. So thank you, BMW of Sterling, for bringing back 1980's slimy sales practices, it would almost have been nostalgic if it wasn't a waste of 3 hours of my busy day. Avoid this place at all costs, the DC area has plenty of competition. More
Best BMW dealership I've visited. I have visited multiple car dealerships (including BMW dealerships) in this area and even in other states, BMW of Sterling is by far the best dealersh I have visited multiple car dealerships (including BMW dealerships) in this area and even in other states, BMW of Sterling is by far the best dealership and service center I've been to. I chose to leave my BMW with this dealership because they treated me like a friend and earned my trust. Robert Harrell listened to my concerns and allowed me to talk to the shop manager when BMW of Rockville said this was "impossible". Robert did an excellent job keeping up with my account while he was also balancing a large load of other customers and responsibilities. He handled everything smoothly and professionally. I got to talk to Mike Salins about the inspection results of my car and what would be the best approach moving forward. He was honest, took my concerns seriously and took time to explain the details to me. After I decided to leave my car there, I had to be to work in 20 minutes. Jessica ordered me a complimentary Lyft ride and I made it to work on time because of her. Maria Ramos calmly answered questions I had on the phone when I called in. Every step at this dealership was positive. I also felt so cared for by each of the people that I worked with. I can't write enough good about my experience.
