We purchased a new vehicle from this stealer last week. SHOCKING, even though people at the dealership would probably say "hey, it's a seller's market". To start with, we were told that someone would call back to schedule an appointment to apply some treatment for the Perma Plate package/Additional Bundle. No phone calls at all. It's funny to see that on the final receipt, they included a page that specified the services they owed, but then saying that the services would only be valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Sound a typical way of "TAKE THE MONEY AND RAN AWAY ASAP". Second, I tried to call the service department and sales department multiple times: in the service department, no one picked up the phone; in the sales department, people immediately hang me up after I started to describe the situation. I am wondering how they would "greet" customers who show up and complain onsite? Call security? BTW: that one star was purely for the car itself, not for the dealership More
While having battery replaced and registered, I spent over $300 for tire rotation and balance, and alignment. Less than a month later, I had a flat tire. The wheel will not come off. BMW of Sterling has over $300 for tire rotation and balance, and alignment. Less than a month later, I had a flat tire. The wheel will not come off. BMW of Sterling has over torqued the lug nuts. Recommend torque is 88.5 ft/lbs. Torque must be over 400 ft/lbs. I weigh over 200 pounds and standing on a 2 ft breaker bar can't get the lug nuts to move. Forget talking to the Service manager Brian Latimore. I'm sure his nickname is the artful dodger. More

The salesperson set up my BMW ID incorrectly so the car kept asking me for my email address and password. It looked as if there was a bubble in the display but it turned out that the dealer had not removed the protective film. The salesperson never took the time to show me how that car worked. In fact my wife and I were always looking for him and he was constantly on the phone. When we are spending 100K on a car you would think they would be more attentive. I'm not sure why I ever walked back in the door of this dealership. When I bought my McLaren (same dealership) I walked out of the showroom due to an extremely poor attitude. So I bought the McLaren in Philly (one of my better decisions). I've been asked numerous times about my new iX and I tell them GREAT VEHICLE, just don't buy it at BMW of Sterling. Oh, and I was able to correct all of the issues myself... I love this car!!! I HATE the dealership!!! More
It was a good experience up until the post-sale. The salesman-Vance Doughty--did not follow up after to ensure all titling and tagging was performed. We have received multiple fines as the dealership did not notify the state that we no longer owned our trade-in. We are on our second set of temp tags (now expired) as neither the dealership or the salesman (Vance) submitted the proper paperwork to transfer the tags. By doing so, we have had to file a police report regarding the lost tags. Again, it was a great experience until the sale closed. I would not buy another car from Sterling or Vance. More
Car completed on time and within projected budget. Sean was able to offer a loaner making it more convenient to leave the car for what was a complex service.
