Did not fix my car and took my insurance money. I took my BMW X 3, to get service for the eccentric shaft sensor on 6/6/2017. The issue was repaired, after debating the price with Maria the service advisor, because of the labor. They wanted to charge me an additional fee after they had agreed on a set price. I picked up my vehicle on June 9,2017.I didn't drive it because I didn't want to add miles, since I had plans to trade it in. The car was in my driveway till June 16. when I opened the car I noticed water inside of my car. There was puddles of water in the front and on the back of the floors. My car did not have this issue before I took it in for service. Maria the service advisor told me to call my insurance carrier and get them involved .I called Allstate, my insurance carrier and they opened a claim. They sent an adjuster to inspect it. The new issue was considered a comprehensive loss which they covered. On June 23, 2017 I received a message from the service advisor letting me know my car is ready to pick up. Maria told me everything was removed and cleaned, BUT there is an issue with the rear sunroof. she claimed the shade cover was not returning forward. Right away, I called my adjuster from Allstate insurance company, who inspected my car and he stated that sunroof was working perfectly when he inspected my car before the service tech took it apart. He even tells me that this is unacceptable because it was in good condition. I spoke with the service manager, Greg who told me " the sunroof issue is a common problem" then after I requested to talk to his boss they determined the WATER sitting there, had caused the damaged of the mechanism of the sunroof. However, my claim never mentioned water damaged in my sunroof. There was no water marks or water damage on the roof of my car or water leaking in my seats( I have pictures to prove it).The report from the adjuster from Allstate reflects the same. I picked up my car July 5,2017 with dirty floors and half of my sunroof shade in place. Tested sunroof and it does not work. The Service manager advised me not to open it and try to sell it to someone who is willing to fix sunroof. And that if I try to trade it in as it is they wont even look at sunroof. The service at BMW of Sarasota is unacceptable. I believe they damaged my sunroof and must repair it and properly fix my car as they were paid by Allstate. I have pictures to prove the carpets were never cleaned. I believe they kept my car there so long to let it dry out and never cleaned my carpets.This has been the most frustrating and stressfull experience and so inconvenient.Its not right for BMW to do this to anyone. Its unacceptable to return my sunroof in pieces. They pride themselves at being the best but this time the best was not delivered. Excellent service experience The service department at BMW of Sarasota went above and beyond "good service" when I brought my car in for a problem experienced while I was far from The service department at BMW of Sarasota went above and beyond "good service" when I brought my car in for a problem experienced while I was far from my home dealership. The Service Advisor, Seth Rodgers, and the Shop Foreman, Matt Merlino, helped me by dealing with BMWNA on my behalf to have the repair authorized and then completing an extensive and complicated repair in time for me to return home, 1600 miles away. The repairs were done perfectly and I have had no problem with the car in the eight weeks since the repair was completed. My thanks to these two professionals for great work and customer service. Turns out when I asked for a 2nd drive through (steering straight), there was no problem with my 9 month old aligned tires... Brought my husband's car in for a warranty replacement of an airbag. After 90 minutes I was called to receive the car. (Estimated 1 hour to replace.) I was then told the part was not in stock, even though it was when I made the appointment. I was also presented with a $3000 estimate of work needed on the car - 90% labor... Awaiting the airbag order. Beautiful facility, attentive staff but.... (needed) service???? Came in for service drove home with a new car I brought my 2015 BMW in for service and inquired about returning my car and getting a new one early. lack of communication and lies took my x5 in because it developed a coolant leak i asked them to diagnose the car as well as see about the two recalls my car have and to also keep took my x5 in because it developed a coolant leak i asked them to diagnose the car as well as see about the two recalls my car have and to also keep me informed. she said ok i told her that anything she finds wrong to please contact my warranty and see if its covered and to let me know. she called me back later that day to inform me that my temp sensor and lower radiator hose was cracked.they were covered by the warranty so i agreed to approve them to work on the car. i told her that i forgot to let her know that my heater wasn't working and if they could see why that was she said OK and she would call me tomorrow. i didn't hear from her for 3 days. i simple call text or email would make me happy if they still haven't gotten a chance to re diagnose the car. i just want to know whats going on and if any progress is being made, but no i didn't hear anything for 3 days the 4th day i decided to call and she what is going on i was told that she was off and they dont have any information on the new status of my vehicle they said i had to talk to her. the next day she called and said that my heater control valve needed to be replace i asked if she contacted my warranty she said no i asked if she can please contact them she did and called me back and said that it wasn't covered. i said ok just forget about that. and fix what is covered. i called my warranty to see why that part was not covered and they told me that they have no record of her calling about the heater control valve the only thing she called about was the temp sensor. by this time im pissed because i hate to be lied to especially when its about a car that i drive. she didnt even check to see if the parts was in for my recall it really just felt like she was trying to get my car out of service as fast as she can and i dont like that because when i want things done right. i didn't say anything i just went and picked my car up i will never bring my car back to BMW of Sarasota, not because i wasn't kept in the loop but because i was LIED to and that is very UNPROFESSIONAL, i will continue to get my car serviced at BERT & SMITH BMW it might be a little further but if it means better customer service and peace of mind i will take that drive. More

Oh man the worst part is the assistant service Devin it's call it maked me wait more the 10min they have to go and look for she didn't even apologize for being late, she don't even treat you with respect for some people that is very important. very poor service, this time was the last After the joke they told me about oil leak 2,900 plus the coolant leaking from the turbos $2,970 it just make me give up bmws after 13 years of driving 3 types 325i ,525i and 535i series, I know I can get a second opinion by another mechanic but I won't even bother I'm getting a tundra instead More
