Above and Beyond at the 11th Hour I phoned in asking for guidance for a very serious sounding warning and lots of red and orange lights on the display. Scott asked me to bring it in A I phoned in asking for guidance for a very serious sounding warning and lots of red and orange lights on the display. Scott asked me to bring it in ASAP and on Friday afternoon at 5:30, he showed no signs of the usual wear and tear an advisor in the service department would usually have. He was professional, courteous and attentive. We went over the warning messages, and said he'd be in touch Saturday with an update. By 11:30 a.m, I had confirmation that everything was fixed and that a faulty speed sensor was to blame. Overall, the team at BMW of Sarasota is exceptional. This is my 5th BMW, and my 2nd from this dealership. I have always been made to feel like a part of their team at every engagement. A job well done.... as usual. Thank you. More

They are wonderful examples of the kind of service one would expect from BMW. Unfortunately, my experience with your dealership service department prior to working with these two professionals left me frustrated and ready to leave BMW (after about six 3-year leases). First of all, I am a big music fan and when I leased my 2020 in August of 2019 I was very surprised to find out after I got it home that it did not have Sirius, something very important to me and something I didn't think I had to ask for after it being automatic in all past leases and in my wife's recent Porsche lease. I was told Carplay would be just as good and I was set up for that. My problem was after Carplay on the screen a day or two it would just disappear. I was in to the dealership with Genius at least three times and the same thing kept happening. Finally Assistant Service Manager Derek said maybe a computer problem and I stayed for an extra few hours and Carplay again seemed fixed. But again, it disappeared after a day and so did my Blue tooth phone. I kept reaching out to Derek - phone and email - and received no response to at least four contacts. I wanted this fixed; since August I have been driving a 2020 BMW with only AM/FM radio and no phone. Everytime I went to your shop it takes about an hour (live on Anna Maria Island). Finally after no contact from Derek my salesperson Bobby Carr reached out to Greg Jones. Within a week the entire problem was resolved thanks to Greg. Nevertheless it was a frustrating several months and BMW almost lost a customer. More
