As soon as we walked in the door everyone made sure we were being helped. They were considerate and kind without being pushy. Dan Davis was my sales rep. He is professional in all aspects of his job. His approach to selling a car is what I wanted and expected to get. I ordered a 335i Coupe, built to my specs. Mr. Davis, guided me through the process and saw that the car I ordered was the car that I got. The car performs wonderfully and I love driving it. I've had the car 7 days and I have driven it over 1800 miles. Mostly Interstate Highways. I've owned Jag's, and Dodge Hemi's, and a host of other vehicles. The BMW, is the finest so far. I will recommend BMW of Sarasota, to all my friends. The question "why" is answered simply. I went to Mercedes, Audi, and others. BMW of Sarasota, via Dan Davis, offered the best deal and the most comprehensive service and warranty of all the dealers I visited. I have no doubt that Post Sale service will be first class as well. I purchased a new BMW and signed my contract on 5-27-2013. I had a horrible customer service experience that the new car General manager could not resolve. I took it up to the President/owner of th 5-27-2013. I had a horrible customer service experience that the new car General manager could not resolve. I took it up to the President/owner of the dealership and it could not be resolved. I then called BMW USA and filed a formal complaint on 6-14-2013. That same day, I got a call from the General Manager stating that the President/ owner of the dealership was not happy that I got BMWUSA involved and that they wanted their car back. I explained that I was uncertain of the legality behind their verbal request and was then threatened that my deposit would be returned. Upon further investigation with BMW USA financing, this dealership never submitted my signed application for finance even though I signed the contract 18 days prior and also wrote them a large deposit in which they cashed. I have filed formal complaints with the BBB, the Florida Office of Financial Regulation as well as with Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Buyers Beware. I will be returning this vehicle to the dealership immediately and taking my business to a BMW dealership that is deserving of my business. More
Our experience was best described as a tale of Jekyll and Hyde. We arrived at the dealership and were promptly greeted by the agent, told him what model we were interested in, and he immediately got the keys Hyde. We indicated we had another dealership to visit as we had narrowed our search down to two cars. The agent reiterated “what a great deal” the BMW model was, and it was, but more because it was a carry-over from the previous year that they had not been able to close a deal on. We left the dealership giving the agent my husband’s business card and went on about our day. Within two hours of leaving BMW, the agent called my husband’s place of work looking for him to speak more about getting us to purchase the BMW. This was not at all acceptable to us since he had our personal cell phone numbers, but we let it pass as an oversight. Our next conversation with the agent moved from pleasant discussion to high pressure, indicating the car was going to be “lowered in price” the next day on Autotrader and since the next day was a Monday, he knew there would be a barrage of calls to buy the car. We informed him that was fine, we would take our chances. But then, when we said we would purchase the car the next day, the price was all-of-the sudden non-negotiable. Still, we bought the car. After our purchase, we had no follow up from the sales agent and had to leave a nasty message to get him to take care of a few remaining items. As for our trade, they gave us the exact amount Edmunds.com said the car was worth, and then placed it on their website for sale at a 115% mark-up. Note that my husband and I did decide to purchase the car based only on the fact that we really liked the car and it had FAR less milage than one sitting at the adjacent dealer that was the same model year and price and NOT because of anything the BMW agent had done or said. My father had a positive experience purchasing a 330ci from BMW of Sarasota in 2002. Therefore before purchasing my M3 I decided to take the car to them for a pre purchase inspection (PPI). I scheduled th from BMW of Sarasota in 2002. Therefore before purchasing my M3 I decided to take the car to them for a pre purchase inspection (PPI). I scheduled the PPI a week in advance, when the car was delivered they had no record of my appointment. I was charged $350 and told the car only needed maintenance in addition to repairs that I specifically pointed out to them. I like to DIY, so I decided to purchase the car, knowing that I can perform all the basic maintenance. Since taking possession of the vehicle I've discovered that the car has significant rust that is easily identifiable when the car is elevated. The previous owner told me that he installed HID fog light bulbs, resulting in dash warning lights. Turns out both bi-xenon lights are bad and the fogs are not the issue. When I elevated the car I found a cheap aftermarket ballast zip tied to the frame. I'm convinced they didn't even look at this car. I requested my PPI report on multiple occasions, I received nothing. I successfully disputed the credit card charge, but I lost $1000s repairing this car. John Tremble told that he personally inspected the under carriage while the car was on the lift ... I now know this was a completely dishonest statement. Do not have your car serviced here, especially if you didn't purchase a vehicle from them. More

Walked in on 3/6/13 not even certain I was in the market for a new car and by 3/12/13 there was a new X3 parked in my garage. She handled the whole process with complete professionalism and was genuinely concerned that I understood every step of the process and most importantly that I was happy with everything that transpired, which I was. I wouldn't buy a BMW from anyone other then NayColle who is as professional and knowledgable about BMWs as she is good looking, which is always nice to deal with people as concerned about how they present themselves when one contemplates the purchase of such a beautifully designed automobile. Handsome is as handsome does. She introduced me to my own private Service Advisor, Melony F who knows the X3 inside and out which is most reassuring given the relative complexity of this vehicle, plus how often does one get a service advisor as good looking as Melony who also happens to be a total car nut, which is the best of all possible scenarios. That said, I actually don't expect to see much of her, because the BMW's I've owned in the past have been completely reliable, but it's a nice change to have someone as easy on the eyes as Melony to help you, rather then the usual, burly male service advisor one normally associates with auto service. Don't let her looks fool you though, she knows BMWs as well as any guy, maybe more so. Bruno, Emillio and Tammy on the business side of things handled all of the paperwork, tags and titling with total efficiency, I would highly recommend BMW of Sarasota, and this team of competent professionals in Sales, Service and Business Affairs in particular. A car as well engineered and pleasing to the eye as the BMW demands and equally aesthetic buying experience, BMW of Sarasota delivers that and then some. More
