Brought my 2013 535xi in for a problem with the voice command/iDrive system not working properly. Dealership had my car for a week and they did not repair the problem. They stated the car was reprogram command/iDrive system not working properly. Dealership had my car for a week and they did not repair the problem. They stated the car was reprogrammed and a BMW NA rep looked at the iDrive and everything was operating as normal. Car was with the dealer for a week and problem was not repaired and actually got the car back with scratches on the trunk area that were not there when I brought the car in. After dealing with the problem for months longer and losing a little joy about my car I tried Paul Miller BMW which is 1/2 an hour further for me; Paul Miller BMW stated (as I believed) that Prestige did not reprogram the car and the software was the original which was numerous versions behind. Paul Miller BMW reprogrammed the car in a day and everything was working perfect and more importantly they did not damage my car. I love my car again! Should have learned my lesson from this experience with Prestige BMW but just recently brought my car in for a tire repair (bubble) and again Prestige BMW damaged my car - service department replaced the tire but put a small chip and dent in my rim. Additionally, car was parked right outside the pick up area so I walked out to the car and noticed that car was backed in up against a snow bank (actually ice)! Glad I did not see or hear them backing into the snow/ice bank. More proof they don't care about your car. I will never use this dealership again and I recommend you don't either. More
I had the unfortunate experience of hitting a massive pothole on the way to work this morning resulting in blowing out a run flat tire. Since I purchased tire insurance through BMW when I leased the car, I called the service desk to find out the procedure of getting the tire replaced. the car is not equipped with a spare and cannot be driven. Maria was most helpful by looking up the name of the insurer, the policy number and a phone number so that I could contact them and find alternative places that would honor their policy. I am most grateful for her assistance. More
