I was interested in a 2009 BMW 335i Coupe that Prestige was advertising as Used/Pre-Owned, that I had found on their web site. It was in fact an Executive car, which was just what I was looking for with t was advertising as Used/Pre-Owned, that I had found on their web site. It was in fact an Executive car, which was just what I was looking for with the consequent discounted price and favorable lease terms. I had previously purchased a CPO 2005 330i Coupe at Prestige, and had a very pleasant experience doing so, thus I was initially happy to deal with them again. My initial contact was with "Omar", who did not have a designated phone number at Prestige and was hard to reach for follow up conversations. His deameanor was rather unprofessional and unknowledgeable, and his focus was "what kind of monthly payment did you want to make for the car." Being a trained accountant in the financial services industry, I have my own lease calculator and always confirm any figures before commtting to a deal. I had obtained BMW's then current money factor and residual figures, and had already calculated the monthly payment based on the advertised price of the car. Omar came back with a monthly payment ~$125 higher than "mine". Not a good start. Once I advised Omar that I had all the same figures he did, and told him what I expected the monthly payment to be, he said he would have to check with his manager, Mike Morganstein. My further dealings were directly with Mike, which, while more straightforward, still left me with an uncomfortable feeling. I simply didn't get a good "vibe" from Prestige, very different than my past experience. As a sidenote, the same week I had gotten a notice from Prestige about a special sale event to be held the following Saturday, open only to current or past customers, etc etc. I asked Mike about this, and if I would be missing out on any potential special "Saturday discounts" or similar if we closed a deal during the week. I won't give his exact response, but let's say it ran counter to the promised discounts, high trade in values, etc. promoted in the special Saturday sales notice. Long story short, while the price on the car was attractive, and the equipment was exactly what I wanted, I got $800 more in trade in value from my local dealer, and ended up doing a deal for a brand new 335i Coupe with them. I won't be going back to Prestige. More
Used car department at Prestige BMW is terrible. They are selling cars with bad re-paint job and cars with previous accidents history as CPO vheicles. They hide accident reports from CarFax report. This deal selling cars with bad re-paint job and cars with previous accidents history as CPO vheicles. They hide accident reports from CarFax report. This dealership may give better price but be careful !! Used car sales people are very dishonest speciallly the manager. Please stay away from this dealership when you are buying CPO vehicle. BMW of NA LLC would not do anything regarding Prestige BMW's dishonest sales practice. More

This is a letter addressed to the Prestige Corp. regarding their dealerships and mainly with BMW. Dear Prestige, I would like to provide some feedback from a customer's standpoint reg regarding their dealerships and mainly with BMW. Dear Prestige, I would like to provide some feedback from a customer's standpoint regarding your company and your many dealerships. To start off, I have been a Lexus owner for many years. Your Lexus dealership is absolutely fabulous. From service to sales, they receive 4.5 stars. They are polite, quick, knowledgeable, and curtious. I believe we can both agree that Lexus is a top notch vehicle, but what keeps the customer coming back is the after service. This will make or break a customer from servicing their vehicle at your establishment or not, in turn, returning to purchase or not! Your BMW dealerships on the other hand are the direct opposite. I recently purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from your company. The sales to the service was disgusting and actually my feeling regarding Prestige has been changed for the worse. During the sales process of my BMW, the organization, communication, and clarity of what was happening, when, & why was scatterred. After sorting through many phone calls to BMW, who refused to answer their phones or voicemails, the deal was done. I just wanted it over, I wanted the car and to get home quick. Unfortunately the headaces did not stop there. A day or so after having the vehicle and reading through the manuals, I discovered that there was no valet key. I informed the salesman and sales manager of my situation. During the sales process, all weather mats were given as a thank you for the purchase, which I had to drive to parts to pick up. I stopped by the parts area to pick up my mats and asked them for the valet key. The gentleman said you he had to charge me for it because that is what the sales manager told him. I was actually offended by this. Whe you purchase a vehicle, you want everything that you are supposed to have with the car, at best, received at a later date. After a confrentation with the sales manager, I sent of an email to the gentleman in charge of BMW as a whole. WIthin 5 minutes, the sales manager called me apologizing and said the key would be in shortly, free of charge. My temporary plate was to expire in the early of March. A week prior to the expiration, I contacted BMW and they had informed me that they did not arrive yet. The long and short, I received my plates and registration after the expiration date causing me not to drive my car for a few days, by law I was not permitted to drive my car, but was it becuase BMW failed to process the paperwork on time, which I believe, or was it because when the plates arrived, but BMW failed to inform their valued customer? This is the mystery question. BMW continues with disorganization by informing me almost two week after the car was received that they missed paperwork. Back and forth, missed called, voicemails, another headache. This finally resovlved after a few days. Today tops the cake. I scheduled service with Prestige BMW for this morning with loaner car. I show for service and the time of my arrival to the time I left it was record breaking, but the car couldn't be serviced. The reason the car could not be serviced is because BMW doesn't have enough loaner cars. They run out and then have their customers deal with rental cars which requires a $200 hold on a credit card. Now me being a former Prestige Lexus customer, this situation was quite baffling. Lexus actually has more than enough loaner cars, pick/drop off service, and basically a solution for every customer situation without a hold of any money, actually you don't even need a credit card @ Lexus. You need an issue with your car, you need to speak with your advisor or whomever is available, and all is done! I love it. BMW had to turn me away this morning because I couldn't afford to hold $200 on a credit card. They rescheduled me for tomorrow morning & to ensure I receive a loaner car, I need to be there before 8:15am. I close with this: There is a large difference between Prestige Lexus & Prestige BMW. They both appear to be run by two different companies. They have completely inverse levels of customer serivce and satisfaction. This shows to me as a loyal customer to Prestige Dealers that there is a lack in leadership and this affects the bottom line, me, the customer! Upon my next purchase of any vehicile I will have to strongly consider if I purchase from you again or not. Furthermore, I will have to do alot of research and obtain alot of opinions. You have truly educated me in the few weeks that I have had my BMW. I thank you for the experience and shall never forget this. Thank you. More
I bought my BMW X3 CPO from this dealer in Aug. The sales guy I dealth with was good until I he sold me the car. He told me the interest rate would be around 6% I have excellent credit. However it turns out guy I dealth with was good until I he sold me the car. He told me the interest rate would be around 6% I have excellent credit. However it turns out 8% when I got the paper work. Even the price he gave the car at was more than the online advertised price (I shd have seen the online price before going to the dealer)however they have different prices online and at the dealership so check out the price online before you go if you wish to go to this dealer. I was promised the valet key for the car when I got it however I had to run behind Eddie to get this key and he would never bother to return my call. When I got him on the call once he gives me an attitude. Even the manager of the CPO dept Michael Morgenstien would not return my call. They are horrible once the sale is done. Finally I had to call someone from the head office who looked in to this matter. I am still waiting for the keys hopefully I get it soon I feel this dealer is horrible once the sale is done. Eddie told me when I got the car his job starts now he is a great lier. When I look back all I can recollect is the BS and lies he told me to sell this car. I will never buy a car from Presitge Again I was told the tires & brakes were replaced on the car however recently I had my brakes redone at Park Ave under the warranty on 8/2/2011 and they told me the brakes or tires were never changed on this car. What a lier Your follow up was quick, however it's too late since I will NEVER buy any car from PATHETIC Dealership....and would never refer anyone to you. I would rate my purchase experience as -10 and you should invest time in hiring quality sales men. More
Funny guy, no lying and was very easy to deal with. He even delivered the vehicle. This salesperson worked hand in hand with another co worker I believe name Kevin. They both worked with me to make sure t even delivered the vehicle. This salesperson worked hand in hand with another co worker I believe name Kevin. They both worked with me to make sure that my delivery of a 650ci was convenient and hassle free. Everything was done over the phone and once signing papers, nothing changed and no hidden charges. I like dealing with this salesperson so much we chatted about computers and gaming more then the price of the car. this guy not only knows how to make you comfortable but makes you realize that the second biggest investment really isnt all that bad. Poor customer service. We got our pre owned bmw there and of course on the sales process they can be the nicest people because they need to sell the car but when it came time to send the registration they se of course on the sales process they can be the nicest people because they need to sell the car but when it came time to send the registration they sent it via fed ex without even requiring a signature when it was delivered so the inevitable happened....our license plate and registration was lost because it was left in the front door of our house. I called them telling them of the situation and a day passed without any return call of how they will resolve the problem. I called them again the next day telling them of the circumstance that it is very frustrating for me because I can't even use my car and unprofessional for them not to call to at least give me an update of what is going to happen. So the day passed again and they said they will fax me a copy of the registration within that day to use temporarily until I can receive the original from the mail but the day ended again without any call or fax. I called and called the next day only to find out that the person handling it is off for that day. So I only talked to the receptionist because the manager was on a meeting and as I have some questions and worries because I've been without a car for days because of their incompetency she told me that she is not a car salesman and she doesn't deal with those things but is trying to help but why not transfer me to somebody who can actually give me answers. So it really doesn't matter if you buy a perfectly good car if you get it from the wrong dealer like theirs you'll be paying for a car that you can't even use. More
I did not have a good experience with Prestige BMW in the Sales AND Service Department. First of all, when I went to buy my new BMW, the salesman kept on trying to rip me off and gave me a terrible deal. He Sales AND Service Department. First of all, when I went to buy my new BMW, the salesman kept on trying to rip me off and gave me a terrible deal. He came of as very rude and unwilling to work out a reasonable deal. I soon left and bought my car at another area dealer. However, because Prestige BMW is near my work office, I decided I would use them for Service. This was a bad mistake. My first severl visits were satisfactory (they did seem a little uncaring, but I can deal with that.) This soon changed. One service visit, as I was getting ready to take back my car, I witnessed the worker fling my car mats and his tools on the trunk of my car after he had finished performing the service. Not only did this act put several scratches into the trunk of my new car, but on the rear side as well. Thankfully, I immediately told this to the Service Manager and he arranged to have the scratches filled in and buffed out. As a sign of good will, he also gave my car a complete detailing for free. However, I am fed up with Prestige from the rude salesmen, to the uncaring service advisors, to the incompetant technicians. All Prestige cares about is making money. I would not recommend Prestige BMW. More
I bought a 325ci dealer demo in Sep of 06 and I was very satisfied with how the purchasing process went. Salesrep was friendly, polite and knew the product he was selling. He worked with me to get the satisfied with how the purchasing process went. Salesrep was friendly, polite and knew the product he was selling. He worked with me to get the car up to the specs I wanted (satellite radio install) He even drove me from train station on the day I was to pickup the car. The price was fair, warranty package excellent, and I got the car wanted! I am a satisfied customer. More
I brought my 540 to this location once to have it serviced. The car would hiccup when starting up at times. This dealership does not know what customer service is. They told me the problem was serviced. The car would hiccup when starting up at times. This dealership does not know what customer service is. They told me the problem was my after market cd player and charged me $100 for diagnoses. They said since the problem is with a non oem product I have to pay for the service. I believed them and drove the car around with the cd player disconnected and the problem persisted. BTW they scratched my car during the visit. I know they did it because I detailed and waxed the car the day before I dropped the car off. Fed up and took the 540i to Park Ave.....told Dale what happened and I said keep the car as long as you want until you find the problem. All they did was adjust the computer and everything ran smooth. One thing I noticed, BMW dealers all have an attitude. Because of this I may not buy another BMW again. I get better service from Toyota, Honda and Lexus dealer. More
