The sales reps were nice, and not too pushy so I can attest to some of the other reviews. What I did find is that the online inventory and even the knowledge of inventory was severely inaccurate. Cars would remain on the site for weeks after being "sold" in some cases prices going down over time. I don't know if it is just to get people into the showroom or it is just poor management of the website. Either way I will be finding it very difficult to purchase a car from this dealer. Overall the experience was satisfactory. They had me waiting longer than usual, and I have purchased many upscale vehicles in the past. However, the staff was friendly and attentive. I went to Prestige and actually visited a number of their showrooms in Ramsey NJ upon the recommendation of a friend. All of the people I met there were first class. Most important for me, is that no one there came across as the "typical" or "pushy" salesperson. I felt a level of professionalism there that evades most car dealerships. I felt that that they actually took the time to listen to me. They gave me top dollar for my trade-in and I ended up buying a fantastic car that prior to my visit to Prestige I really thought I could not afford. My experience with Max, my salesperson, was extremely pleasant. He was always available on the phone and is very personable. He made me feel at ease and came across as someone who cared about my long term happiness with the car I was about to buy rather than just making another sale. In the future I know I will always visit Max and the Prestige "family" first when in need of another vehicle. Everyone should. They really are a dealership(s) that stands out from the crowd... and their bagels are GREAT! We recently purchased a used Porsche C4 Cab from the dealership. We had a local Porsche dealer check the car out prior to purchase and there were a few issues found. The vehicle was priced to reflect dealership. We had a local Porsche dealer check the car out prior to purchase and there were a few issues found. The vehicle was priced to reflect most of the issues. One issue specifically was the front tires were hardened and cracked. We were told that the dealer would not replace the tires as it would be too costly and the tires that were on there were fine (the porsche dealer did not highlight the tires as a safety issue either). If they weren't then they would have changed them prior to marketing the car as they were not going to allow an un safe vehicle to be sold. We took the car anyway knowing that somewhere in the near future the tires would need replacing and we would need to bare that expense. After taking the vehicle to be inspected by a porsche specialist who is also a certified inspection shop, we were told the car would not pass NYS inspection for safety reasons associated with the front tires. The specialist shop also happens to be the shop that the owner of Prestige BMW uses for his personal Porsche. Upon calling Mr. Morganstein, the used car sales manager to let him know of the findings and the fact that the car did leave his dealer in unsafe condition, he immediately overnighted a check for $600 for a set of brand new Michelins. We are very pleased to report that this kind of treatment is exactly what the rest of the car business is missing. Well done Prestige. More
I had problems with my 2013 X3. I was offered a trade assist which resulted in me taking a 2013 X5. With the help of the Mr Grossman (Director of Sales and Marketing) and the superb service and help of E assist which resulted in me taking a 2013 X5. With the help of the Mr Grossman (Director of Sales and Marketing) and the superb service and help of Erik Valentin I built the desired X5 and within two weeks picked up my new car. I have to say that the way this dealership treated me makes me recommend it to all my friends. More
