My last experience on 8/25/21 was negative with the service department. First off, booking a simple oil change took weeks to get in for an appointment. And when booking the service appointment, I was service department. First off, booking a simple oil change took weeks to get in for an appointment. And when booking the service appointment, I was told there were no loaners available for almost 2 months. So I had to take an appointment with no loaner available. I told the booking representative that I would have to pay to take an Uber to get to and from work for the service. She said that would be fine. Would have been nice for her to tell me that this dealership offers complimentary Uber service. I found this out when I dropped my car off and the guy at the check in counter said they offer this complimentary. However, you would think that they would have credited me for the Uber I had paid for to pick me up and take me to work. I paid $35 each way to go to and from work with Uber. Then, when I expected a call with an update, no one called me with the status of my vehicle. I called service at 4:45pm to make sure my car was ready and was told that all of the techs went home and they do not have any updates on my vehicle. Pretty much made it sound like I was out of luck. Meanwhile, this is the only car I own and live about 45 minutes from work and this dealership. After multiple calls and texts to service, someone finally responded with an update and that my car should be ready when they close at 6pm on 8/25. Moral of the story. Communication is seriously lacking here. Would have been nice to have been offered a complimentary Uber service, rather than spending the $70 that I did on transportation. Would have been nice to receive a call during the day to let me know what time the car would be ready, rather than leave me hanging. Would have been nice to have been given a credit for what I paid in transportation costs It was also a slap in the face that the man checking in next to me was taken care of differently and that the service department bent over backwards to get him in for an earlier appointment and gave him a loaner with no question.
