Bad experience buying a car I leased a BMW X3 from BMW of Mountain View recently. I was happy with the sales person (Greg). He did very well. We had our 2 children with us and it took a long long time for paperwork, very unpleasant that I completely forgot that my wife wanted navigation on the car. The day after we leased, I requested a similar car with navigation as my wife was new to the area and definitely needed navigation. I emailed the sales manager. At the same time, I called the general manager and left a voicemail. The general manager NEVER returned my call ... too busy to talk to the customer! The sales manager also practically hung up on me on our last call. While on the phone talking with me, he said he got busy and he would call me back but he never called! The sales manager came up with all kinds of excuses to avoid my request, although it could have been a simple task. I was VERY unhappy. This is an Auto Nation dealership. I tried to find the phone number or email address to Auto Nation customer service but no such a thing exists!!! Very bad experience altogether, specially I find it very disrespectful for the general manager of this store to ignore customers. I would go elsewhere the next time. I would not recommend this dealership. More
Horrible Experience trying to buy a car The worst experience I have ever had trying to buy a car. I went in to look at a 2014 BMW I3 on a Tuesday night. My sales guy Greg did a great job and i really liked the car. I went back to the dealership per my appointment on Friday afternoon with a Cashiers check for the full amount of the car. I signed the paperwork and let Greg know i would be back Saturday (next day) to pick up the car and drive it away. We made an appointment for 2pm. I arrived at 2pm on Saturday and Greg told me that there was a problem and the car that i bought and paid for the previous day was sold sometime between my Friday afternoon appointment and my Saturday afternoon appointment. As you can imagine i was steaming mad! I was taken into PJ Roshan's office, he is the General Manager of the dealership. This guy barely cared what had happened to me and tried to make it sound like it was my fault the car was sold out from under me. His exact statement was "why didn't you drive the car home yesterday". I did not drive it home the day i bought it and paid for it because i did not have a ride to the dealership that day and would never think in any scenario that a car that I paid for would be sold out from under me. He said he had some alternative options on cars but could NOT give me a better deal as they are a one price dealership under the AutoNation group. So, i get no car, not better deal on another car and am totally screwed. PJ had zero remorse and when i was given back my paperwork, he took it all out of the folder and didn't even want to give me the xxxx folder. I would have expected a follow up call from this so called General Manager but have received nothing. No call, no deal on another car, absolutely NOTHING. I am extremely disappointed in my dealings with this dealership and absolutely disappointed in the customer service from PJ Roshan. I wish anyone luck that has to deal with this pompous person who does not respect his customers. My guess is that the person who bought the car from under me was probably financing it versus my paying cash and the dealership would make more money off of the financing sale. I will take my money elsewhere and would hope that PJ Roshan learns how to treat a customer. More
Never again Ordered a X3 in April, finally came in August. Financing through BMW was arranged in advance. We made an appointment to pick the car up at 4. Tried to sell us the Platinum warranty and maintenance plans and made all sorts of false claims (like we are going to need two complete brake jobs before 60,000 miles), and several other rediculous false claims. Paperwork guy got annoyed and rude and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Claimed 99.9% of people buy warranty and maintenance when the truth is that 11.2% do. This place ruined the fun of buying a new car. I recommend Peter Pan. I bought an M3 there and was in and out in 20 mins when I signed for the car. More

Don't waste your time or money on inferior service!!!! Contacted the lot and inquired about the vehicle and then filed the finance application with Ardavan Ghassemi. The vehicle was actually in service during this portion. I finally received financing options after it was released from service, over a week later. I started to make the necessary financial preparations to have the vehicle shipped and insured. I kept the salesman aware of my actions and express my intent to purchase the vehicle. To my surprise, i checked back two business days later and the vehicle had been sold with not even a notification. So basically I got a hard inquiry on my credit report and a waste of my time for no reason. Do not waste your time with Ardavan Ghassemi, if you are sent to him online, call the dealership directly and get an informed associate to help you! More

Arranged to pick up car after servicing in the evening. Instructed service tech to leave key under the drivers side floor mat (I have an extra). When we came to pick up, key wasn't there. Failed to follow instructions and then required me to go back a second time to pick up the key. And I found this out only after having to call three times. This dealership is operated for its own benefit, not those of its customers. More

When I dropped my car, I was told it need 2 days to complete, that's fine too. They gave me a loan car, which is nissan rogue. I saw a Infinite SUV next to it. I asked for it. I was told I have to pay $10 per day to upgrade to it. What? I assumed, BMW X5 is similar class to Infinite SUV. Now I was told it is any upgrade !!! More
Rude, dismissive, and not informed I visited parts for a rear license plate mount and was told they were out of stock and that one would be ordered. I received no call by day 2, so I called and was told it was in. Turns out they ordered a front mount and actually had rear in stock the whole time. Multiple trips, pay, refund, pay... no apology no offer to make it right. Asked to speak with a manager, was told one would call, never did. Now my wife called b/c we received notification that airbag recall part is finally available. She was told we had to get on a list (we had already been on the list - letter said call dealer to schedule final remedy). My wife questioned regarding why we are. Wing put on list. She was asked "why are you being rude? Do you want to be on the list or not?" She asked for a manager and was transferred to vm. My wife called BMW corporate, who told her she should have been able to schedule. They referred her to Peter Pan BMW who answered immediately, orders the remedy part, and said they'd call when it was in to schedule what will be a 1 hour repair. No problem. It seems mountain view BMW does not care about providing customer service or representing the BMW brand. I highly recommend going to any of the other Bay Area dealers and not subjecting yourself to this disappointing establishment. More
