I don’t have a title and it has been over six months. I emailed them and emailed and they said they couldn’t give me the title. Now for some reason I am getting registration notices from California because apparently my car is registered with my name in California even though I don’t live in California and they know this. I can’t register it in my state either because I need the title in order to do so. They have a nice looking place but I am starting to wonder if my car was a stolen car that was sold to me. More
Hard to make appointment by phone they would not call back when you would leave your number. My right front wheel was curbed, notice the marks on tire and rim when received. Fraud!! I wish there were negative Stars. I had the misfortune of purchasing a used Prius from this dealer. Before leaving I asked for an an additional copy of the of the carfax and the autonation 150 misfortune of purchasing a used Prius from this dealer. Before leaving I asked for an an additional copy of the of the carfax and the autonation 150 point inspection, an inspection which indicated the was not one thing wrong with the car. A few days later I was filing the purchase documents, when I realized they had accidentally included the paperwork of someone who had bought the car a week earlier. As well as all his personal information, credit details etc, there was a copy of a third party inspection report from an independent repair shop the previous buyer had done. Of the various things identified in the report that were wrong was that the left and right bushings were broken. Not only if this an expensive repair, but it is also a serious SAFETY ISSUE. (You can google it) BMW of Mountain View sold me the car knowing that this problem existed and did not disclose it. I spoke to the previous buyer for confirmation, I did have all his personal information after all. I called the dealer and demanded that they buy back the car. Initially they refused, until they realized I had documentation. Here is where it gets even more outrageous. A couple days later the car was back on the market. (No way they repaired it that quickly). I suppose I should not have been surprised. Btw, I won't even bother getting into the fact that I was lied to by the finance department about the lender requiring gap insurance. More
I noticed some of my car dash lights had come on while doing errands? I rolled into BMW Mt. View Dealership with no appointment, explaining my situation and they took over! Excellent Customer Servi doing errands? I rolled into BMW Mt. View Dealership with no appointment, explaining my situation and they took over! Excellent Customer Service, certainly calmed me down and they gave me a “loaner”; which allowed me to smoothly continue on with the rest of my day:) The fix was quick and l had my car back in a couple of days. Thank you all; along with the Shop and Wayne/my Service Advisor! Michele/Cupertino (NICE car was too) More

My 2005 BMW overheated and bit the dust, so I was in the market for a new BMW. I live in Phoenix, but was staying in Mountain View to help out a friend. I had a good experience with a salesman, but when i market for a new BMW. I live in Phoenix, but was staying in Mountain View to help out a friend. I had a good experience with a salesman, but when it came to giving me a price quote the dealership refused to sell me a car as I was out of state. And if they had, I would have had to pay CA tax instead of AZ tax. So I flew back to Phoenix to buy a new car and drove back to Mountain View. Unfortunately the new car was too big for my garage and got a minor scrape. When I arrived back in MV, I took it by the maintenance at the same dealer. They apparently don't do minor scrape repairs. And surprisingly the touch up paint is unavailable even though this is a 2020, and they are selling 2021s. I suppose the paint availability is really a BMW USA issue. More
Super bad customer service. Each time I sent my car to BMW mountain view for maintenance or repair, it took much longer time than other place, such as BMW fremont. My purchasing experience with Gaurav Pathak was excellent. My post purchasing experience (after finding a interior problem with the car) with Andy Simental was even better. Both "G" and Andy were excellent. My post purchasing experience (after finding a interior problem with the car) with Andy Simental was even better. Both "G" and Andy were exceptionally attentive to my needs and my concern. They both went beyond their individual responsibilities to make my purchasing experience via BMW of Mt. View very positive. 3 months+ to receive refund on a $4,500 extended warranty I can't believe that this place carries the name brand of one of the most prestigious brands of Germany (my home country)... I purchased an Extende I can't believe that this place carries the name brand of one of the most prestigious brands of Germany (my home country)... I purchased an Extended Warranty for a 2017 BMW 440i xDrive Gran Coupe through the dealership's finance department. BMW of Mountain View did an excellent job selling me this warranty for ~$4,500 but my experience after that has been unacceptable. I purchased the warranty in early November 2019 but canceled it shortly after (policy allows for full refund if canceled within 60 days). But to this day, I have not received the refund. After many attempts of contacting the dealership and the finance manager that handled this case, I was promised to receive the refund within two weeks on Dec. 28. Today is Jan. 19 and I am still waiting for my money. This experience is unacceptable and confirms my previous issues with BMW of Mountain View. They're great at selling you something (though I can't say that their sales people know much about the products) but if there are any issues, they'll leave you hanging. Customer service = 0. More
Be Careful. Someone drove my BMW for 120 miles after service == Be Careful about this dealership, especially for car service there == Someone in BMW of Mountain View drove my car for 120 miles after they comple == Be Careful about this dealership, especially for car service there == Someone in BMW of Mountain View drove my car for 120 miles after they completed the service of my car (2019 530e, royal blue). I sent my car in on a recall (rear camera related) on 1/7/2020, got a loaner car, then went picking up my car the next day. Things seemed normally fine. Then something weird happened. First they couldn't find my car in the building, then I found it parked in customer parking. After I drove my car out for less than one mile, I noticed the odometer showed 24828, but the service report said the Mileage out is 24709 (Mileage in 24707). Someone drove my car for ~120 miles overnight. I called the dealer right away. They acknowledged that when I sent my car in, the tank is almost full (9 gal out of 10 gal tank), and when I got car back, only half tank left. They said they are reviewing their surveillance and sort of confirm and apologized for what happened. I asked for explanation on what happened and how this happened. This is a security issue. Someone drove my car out for 120 miles. They had no idea who took my car, where did my car go, and what has been done to my car... How could we trust them and give our precious BMW to their hands again ? Be Careful. Check the report's mileage out against your odometer when you pick up your car after service. If similar thing happened to you, please stand out to let others know. We pay premium to buy the car and service from dealer but BMW betrays our trust as they don't honor our ownership. I will update later if I hear back from BMW of Mountain View on their finding and their plan to fix this issue. I learn a lesson. You should too. More
