I initially brought my BMW X3 in for a check in Nov. , because the check/tire light kept coming on. I was driving alone on a long trip and wanted to make sure I wouldn't have a problem with my tires. The , because the check/tire light kept coming on. I was driving alone on a long trip and wanted to make sure I wouldn't have a problem with my tires. The service department told me that when the weather gets cold at night, it automatically triggers a tire warning light because of change in tire pressure. They looked at it and sent me on my way. The warning lights never went off so I brought it back in and was told not to worry, it's because its winter and colder. Still, the lights never went off again. A couple weeks later I brought it back in for a scheduled tune up and the lights have now remained off. Now, although we've had much colder nights, the lights have remained off...which leads me to believe what I was advised on the two previous visits was incorrect. Doesn't build a lot of confidence in the service department and whether it's worth shopping around for service elsewhere. ***The survey made me check a employee before I could enter my answers, but I do not know Service dept. rep Edgar Garcia.
