Able to help in a pinch While I was in town, I'm not local to Macon, I needed some help with my BMW. I called and spoke with Elizabeth. After explaining my challenge, she was able to work with the shop and squeeze my vehicle into an already fully booked day. Tire wors I ran over a nail and had to get a tire replaced. I have a road hazard warranty, which is good, and the dealership had my tire in stock, which is also I ran over a nail and had to get a tire replaced. I have a road hazard warranty, which is good, and the dealership had my tire in stock, which is also good. I called to confirm these items and was told that I would be responsible for a $50 deductible, no problem. On arrival for the scheduled service I’m informed that the warranty doesn’t cover rotation and balancing of the new tire. That seems a little duplicitous to me (who replaces a tire without at least balancing it?). My problem is that the process took THREE HOURS. I’m sure they were busy, I’m sure there were lots of other things going on, but this should have taken an hour or two at the maximum. More

Airbag Recall I brought my BMW X6 in for an airbag recall and for diagnosis of a problem with the top-view camera system. The service representative told me when I I brought my BMW X6 in for an airbag recall and for diagnosis of a problem with the top-view camera system. The service representative told me when I made the reservation that these tasks would take more than a day and that they would set me up with a loaner car. They were ready for me when I showed up for the appointment and had me in the loaner car within a couple of minutes. Over the next two days they did an excellent job of keeping me informed. When time came to pick up the X6, it was clean and waiting for me. Return of the loaner car and finishing paperwork on my car again looks just a couple of minute. New airbags installed and top-view camera system fixed. This could not have been a better experience. This experience was exceptional but it is what I have come to expect from this dealer's service department. The X6 is my second BMW. My first BMW was a Z4. My experience with the excellent work performed by this service department in taking care of my Z4 was a large part of my decision to purchase another BMW. More
