My lease from 2009 was coming to an end and I was debating buying out my lease or leasing a new car. Michael didn't pressure me either way. I finally decided to lease a new car. The car I wanted w debating buying out my lease or leasing a new car. Michael didn't pressure me either way. I finally decided to lease a new car. The car I wanted was not in stock, so we ordered it. It took a few months for my car to arrive and it was totally worth the wait. The process was extremely smooth. Michael updated me weekly on the status of my car and that made the time fly by. He quickly replied to any question I had. Absolutely great customer service! Everything was easy on the date of delivery. Anthony in finance did not try to pressure me with any warranties. He let me take my time to make up my mind. I'm now driving my 2013 328I and I love it! I will continue to give my business to Desert BMW of Las Vegas. More
I usually do NOT do reviews. This time though I HAVE to make an exception! I have been a fan of BMW vehicles since 2002. I grew up in a dealership so I've been around car sales. My stepfather "was" a deale make an exception! I have been a fan of BMW vehicles since 2002. I grew up in a dealership so I've been around car sales. My stepfather "was" a dealer. That being said, I am somewhat knowledgeable about the dealer workings. I have been going to Desert BMW since moving to Las Vegas in 2006. Let’s start with the service department. They have been servicing our 2004 325Ci since 2006, and Josh Martinez has been our service advisor all this time. Josh is by and far a large, the BEST service advisor I have dealt with over the last 40 (yes 40) years. He is ALWAYS available when I call him. When my car is in the shop and he says he'll call with an update by 3pm, He ALWAYS does, and he has never missed a deadline! This is VERY unusual. Now let’s talk about everyone's favorite, SALES! I just completed another transaction and leased a new 528i sedan. My sales rep was Stephan Neamtu, the sales manager was Dan Eastman, and the finance manager was Anthony Aversa (Tony). Stephan did the heavy lifting. He was the one who suggested the right vehicle (after testing a few models and styles), found it on the lot, did my test drive, put the temporary plates on the new car, removed my personalized plates from my trade-in (They gave me a VERY fair and decent price), did the FULL (and I mean FULLY 100% NO HOLDS barred) training and setup of the car for me! Stephan also setup the Sirius Satellite Radio and the BMW Assist (the emergency connection) for me. Dan Eastman was also not only the sales manager, but a huge player and really put a few tons of effort into the deal with pricing, selections, choosing which vehicle would have higher rebates, better lease rates, and of course credit approval. I had a couple of blemishes on my credit. Dan went to bat for me over and over again until he got the right deal for me. Note.....I have known many sales managers over the years! Dan Eastman is NOT one of the norm. He CARES about and for his clients. He wants to establish and nurture a relationship with them, instead of a big hit! This means giving clients a fair deal. He definitely is not typical for the auto industry!!!!!! By this time......believe it or not, I'm ONLY at the dealership about an hour or so. It's time to go to Finance to sign documents and buy extended warranties (another sales opportunity for the dealership)........I sat down with Anthony Aversa (Tony). He presented me with a couple of important LOW priced warranties. I took 2 of them. I even asked him if this was all they offered. He replied, "No, but I don't want you to spend a lot of money on unnecessary products." When was the last time you heard that from a sales person?????.....I left 15 minutes later to accept delivery of my NEW BMW! Another Excellent experience at Desert BMW!!! More
Advisor text messaging upon arrival, no greetings, awkward moment for 3-5 mins. Came for 1 year service oil change. Missed a minor service 2 mos. prior, he said too bad, it could have been free if I brought it right away but now it's gonna cost me. Never thought I'm due for that service, I'm a first time owner of BMW, all I can remember was when I bought the car my first service is after 1 year. Came at 1045 am, I said I'll be waiting. Dealer took my car at the back as there's no other customer at that time. Advisor said I might have to wait till after 1 as mechanics are going to lunch. Makes me wonder, do they have lunch all at the same time? This is just for a simple oil change, no other services. Unbelievable. Got the car back though after an hr. He came to me and said my car will be out shortly as it is being washed. Fine job with the car wash but no vacuum, after waiting 45 mins. Car was sitting outside, no body even bothered to call me or page me that my car is ready. Driver side floor mat is disarranged. Drove out, never again. In fairness, advisor was not pushy, no upselling when I declined some of the recommended services. No personalized service whatsoever. Maybe because I was not wearing my suit. More

In purchasing my third BMW Z4, I mentioned to Al that I had never bought a car sight unseen on the internet, and that was a concern. Al reassured me and completely fulfilled his statement to me that he wou had never bought a car sight unseen on the internet, and that was a concern. Al reassured me and completely fulfilled his statement to me that he would make sure it would be fine. From that point onward, it was a joy to proceed in the buying process. Al Smith is fun, and a very professional fellow with whom rapport was easy to establish. He is honest, likeable, and after driving 800 miles to pick up the pre-certified Z4, I found myself grinning all the way back to my home. It was a marvelous trip in a vehicle that I found exceeded my expectations. This was in no small part due to the excellent treatment by those at Desert BMW, Las Vegas, and Al Smith in particular. Having spent over 25 years in sales myself, followed by a long term in government service, I would unhesitatingly recommend both Al Smith and Desert BMW to anyone considering the purchase of their "ultimate driving machine". I was shopping around for a car for over a month. I was in contact with dealers in AZ, TX $ Las Vegas. This was the most professional and easy going dealership that I worked with during that period. I received absolutely unacceptable service from both Evan and Josh on 8/31 and 9/1/12. No Communication regarding my car, no effort made to provide me transportation when my car was in the shop for 2 days and Josh on 8/31 and 9/1/12. No Communication regarding my car, no effort made to provide me transportation when my car was in the shop for 2 days for a warranty repair, and absolutely abhorrent and unprofessional conduct while settling the service transaction. In addition, when my service was done my car was returned: dirty on the inside, scratched tint, torn leather, and a new sensor was busted (so now I have to go back). I can say with certainty that I now want to sell my BMW just so I never have to deal with these guys again. They are the only player in Las Vegas and they arent worth my time , or yours. More
