I only borrowed a small amount in order to receive a $2000 rebate/discount, and I filled out all of the necessary paperwork when I ordered the vehicle in February. In, late April, when the vehicle finally got here, I was forced to wait 1 1/2 hours to see finance. I've purchased many new cars, but this was just ridiculous. Also, they offered $9000 less for my trade-in than Carmax, so after the long wait for finance, I had to go sell my vehicle to Carmax. Additionally, this cost me about $3000 in taxes since I had to pay tax on the full value of the vehicle. If I had gone to sell it while I waited "I would have lost my place in line with finance." I have an excellent credit rating, by the way. I now understand why someone I know goes to California to buy their BMWs. More

I was initially denied an interior warranty repair (leather separating from the steering wheel) by BMW (not the dealership) and had to escalate the matter, that they then said they would “try and glue (leather separating from the steering wheel) by BMW (not the dealership) and had to escalate the matter, that they then said they would “try and glue.” Because of this I scored BMW low on my survey while still giving high marks to my service advisor. I then get the following text from the SA: “ Hi Brian, I just noticed that you failed my survey. I explained to you that was not my call and I understood where you were coming from. That is disappointing that you scored my service low as I tried to go over and above for you. - Joe” I left a VM with the service manager and emailed the GM asking if this type of communication to a customer was normal and no one replied. So, if you want to get texts like this for wanting BMW to stand behind their product and be ignored by management then this is the dealer for you. Queue the dealer “we are sorry and take these matters seriously” canned response. They don’t care. More
