Should have read the other review on here about the service department. Needed an oil change and had an airbag light on on the dash. My wife was the first car in the service line early in the AM. 1.5 hours before she's suppose to pick it up, they call and say they need three more hours JUST TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. So, apparently it takes a specialized BMW mechanic all day and $430 to find out WHY a lights on. Total bill $255 for an oil change and "Diagnosis" that was worthless. Wish I'd have gone somewhere else....oh wait, I STILL HAVE TOO! More

Both Mr. Cahill and the sales manager Mr. McMaken are men of their word first and foremost. I never set foot in the state and all negotiations and information were over the phone or via email. The transaction was flawless, the communication was timely, the service was friendly and competent. I highly recommend anyone contacting Mr. Cahill who is in the market for a BMW and wishes to deal with someone of integrity. More
I purchased a Trailblazer from Thompkinson BMW in the FW 69 Automall just before Thanksgiving. It has been the worst purchase I have ever made. Within weeks of buying the vehicle (Dec.6) the passenger seatb 69 Automall just before Thanksgiving. It has been the worst purchase I have ever made. Within weeks of buying the vehicle (Dec.6) the passenger seatbelt broke. After trying to work with the Thompkinson service department to get the seatbelt fixed, I had to make phone calls, check on shipments and get the part after being handed off to a different service department. As of January 17th, the seatbelt is STILL broke. The morning of Jan. 17th the SUV failed to start. After being promised by the salesmen that the vehicle was “road ready” and came with a Powertrain Warranty we felt confident we were making a wise decision. Now I just feel duped. As the vehicle simply won’t START after been purchased around 2 months ago obviously a big problem was missed in the inspection they claim to put every vehicle they sell through. (NOTE: When in the process of buying the vehicle we discovered that the rear windshield wiper was broken, the rear brakes were at 32% and several rust spots were present. All of this was not mentioned until we asked for an inspection report. ASK FOR THAT REPORT OTHERWISE THEY WONT MENTION OTHER ISSUES.) I talked with the manager there, Chris Cook. I was basically given a slew of excuses including “we can’t predict when a vehicle will break down” which was offensive (I am not an idiot and well aware of that) they wouldn’t even LOOK at the vehicle without a ton of fees to see if the problem was covered in the Powertrain Warranty. Instead he offered to sell me an extended warranty that would NOT cover the current issue or do a new trade in. I would NEVER purchase another vehicle through Tomkinson Autoland ever again. Another factor he mentioned that makes me wary to ever buy a vehicle through Tompkinson again was hid admission, “If we paid for every break down that happened after the purchase of a vehicle here we wouldn’t be in business.” While I get his point it made me think….how many other people are experiencing issues with vehicles purchased from them? And if there are so many that they “wouldn’t be in business” why isn’t Tompkinson doing something about that issue? More
Great experience! Having worked for a competitor for 6 years one of my clients wanted out of her current lease. I went in without my client explained the situation, worked out all the details then calle years one of my clients wanted out of her current lease. I went in without my client explained the situation, worked out all the details then called my client and explained that they had the new BMW she wanted with more options that she intended to get and in the price range she intended to be in! 2 hours later she drove away in her new BMW series. I found Mick and Greg to be very patient in listening to what our needs were. At no time did I get the impression that we was just another sale pending. Mick worked and explained all of the numbers to us and even showed us where the price we were paying for the vehicles ranked among other dealerships throughout the country. My trade in price was excellent and the price we paid for both of the vehicles we purchased was among the top three in the country. We also received a free lifetime power train warranty for as long as we own the vehicles. Minimal worries about future repairs from here on out. Our experience was an A+ and we have no reason to ever consider shopping for a vehicle anywhere else. Great Job! More
I have always wanted a BMW because it's reputation stands above the rest. I was given a very fair offer for my trade-in and bought a used 2004 X5 from Tomkinson BMW and had a great buying experience. Mick and Don were very easy to work with - courteous and professional and not pushy at all. They took as much time as I needed to understand how everything worked. I am very picky about the history and maintenance of used vehicles. The service manager Scott was the best. Not only did he do a complete inspection prior to my purchase, he gave me a thorough understanding of how they service all their vehicles prior to selling. He even actually showed me the history of the maintenance of my X5. I have since taken my other vehicle in for servicing (non BMW) and Scott and his team found the problem and fixed it in very short order and at a fair price. I trust their judgement on repairs and have finally found a dealership service department that I don't have to worry about getting screwed! Who hasn't been there! I would highly recommend Tomkinson for your next vehicle purchase or service repair. You won't be disappointed! More
I had another great experience with Tomkinson. I was turning in a lease and decided to buy a new BMW. I thought they went above and beyond in showing me all of my options without the typical sales press turning in a lease and decided to buy a new BMW. I thought they went above and beyond in showing me all of my options without the typical sales pressure you find at other dealers. More importantly, their patience and expertise resulted in a very pleased customer that now drives the best car I have ever owned/leased. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking to buy a car and seeking a great buying experience. Also, post purchase they have continued to be over accommodating on follow up questions and service, I really feel a part of the family! More
I have always been extremely satified with the treatment I recieve when I visit the dealership for my service needs. He replaced my wipers while I waited without an appointment. They were very busy but he made me feel like I was the only one there. This type of service is rare in this day and age and I want as many people as possible to know that I have always been treated this way whe I'm there. More

All these were very helpful in making a decision on purchasing the vehicle. While I could have purchased a similiar vehicle for slightly less money at another dealer, the team of Mick and Hal at Tomkinson really went out of their way to provide "white glove" service. Thanks for taking this great experience. I want to share my appreciation regarding this experience and service to everyone, and highly recommend the team at Tomkinson BMW.
