My wife and I were coming back from a funeral in Northeastern, Pa. on Friday afternoon late in the day. One of our run flat tires blew out and immediately the pressure went to 1.1. We never had that happen, tried to call some local BMW dealers in the area for advice and if I could bring them my car. No live person picked up the phone, after 3 attempts I looked further down the area of the turnpike. I called BMW of Devon ( a live person picked up the phone) I explained my situation to Linda, she said be safe, come in we will take care of you. When I arrived, I pulled in to service bay. The gentleman asked if I was the person with the tire problem. I explained my situation and where we were coming from, he said " I am sorry to hear that and we will take care of you" I apologize for not knowing his name, thank you for your help. I also want to thank Linda and Liz in customer service who who so helpful and kind. When you have an emergency you look for help, guidance and customer service, BMW of Devon provides it! More
They are like most dealers, they really charge egregiously for their maintenance services. I had an oil change & brake fluid flush. Oil change was slightly more than Garttmeyer but not outland egregiously for their maintenance services. I had an oil change & brake fluid flush. Oil change was slightly more than Garttmeyer but not outlandish. Brake fluid flush cost was $213 vs $34 at Garttmeyet. That’s 6 times the cost. I don’t like writing this, but hey, this is why it pays to go elsewhere for service. More
I would never service my Bimmer anywhere else Jeff is amazing, considerate and he is very personable. I didn't have an appointment and my vehicle was smoking on the side of the road; They had me right in amazing, considerate and he is very personable. I didn't have an appointment and my vehicle was smoking on the side of the road; They had me right in and on the schedule and took their time to properly diagnose my vehicle, I had an estimate the same day and in my vehicle very shortly after with very little inconvience. He was extremely responsive, professional, honest and knowledgeable. The General Manager, Mike Todak, went above and beyond to assist me, as well. I must also commend the Service Manager, Richard Hudak, who assisted me after the sale. This dealership stands behind their vehicles and the entire staff is dedicated to ensuring that customers are 100% satisfied with the service. Lastly, the BMW Genius, Tyler Ables, was very helpful. I recently scheduled my X5 in for an oil change and inspection only to find out that the lower support arms had failed and that they needed to be replaced. Vehicle was purchased from BMW Devon, in la inspection only to find out that the lower support arms had failed and that they needed to be replaced. Vehicle was purchased from BMW Devon, in late August 2021, at 26,000 miles. Having only driven 5,000 miles since the purchase the fact that these crucial components have failed and are not covered by a warranty is outrageous to me. Furthermore, the service department Manager deems it acceptable and common place for such a critical components to fail at 30,000 miles on a so called luxury SUV. More
