Wonderful BMW M5 Purchase I had been dealing with Kerry Simmons by email and telephone for a while concerning a BMW M5 that BMW of Devon had on their lot, but was unsure of the I had been dealing with Kerry Simmons by email and telephone for a while concerning a BMW M5 that BMW of Devon had on their lot, but was unsure of the color and was looking at various other vehicle (M6 and Jaguar F Type). Because I live in New Jersey popping out to see and drive the car was a major issue and I did not want to drive the 115 miles unless it had reached 1-3 on my short list. On first contacting Kerry he was very approachable and accommodating, knowing my needs for a lease he supplied me with excellent rates first time around - no haggling, no pressure, no insisting I come in to drive the vehicle! When I mentioned my Trade In he again was very fair in advising what I could expect his dealership to pay for it - again no haggling! In the end both of these factors had a bearing on my decision to finally go with the M5, after arriving at the dealership late one Saturday afternoon after a harrowing 4-1/2 hours drive in traffic. Kerry was only too pleased to honor the numbers we had discussed and even lower the lease rate slightly in good faith. I did have a chance to drive the vehicle with David Sloane, before making my mind up. David was very pleasant and not pushy at all. My fiancé experience with Frank Muto was also very pleasant and relaxed. Altogether a great experience with no last minute surprises, no pushing things I did not want on the car. The car was handed to me in perfect condition and all features and amenities were fully explained before I drove off - another first in my book - luckily as the M5 has a long list of neat little features, which would have taken hours to find in the manual. Thank you all at BMW Devon for making my buying experience such a joy - even my wife commented how helpful and friendly everybody was - a superb compliment from her! I would highly recommend them to anybody interested in purchasing a BMW. More

My very knowledgeable CA, Kerry Simmons has been fantastic throughout the entire process. From the initial stages of ordering, he kept me posted throughout the process. I knew when it was being built, on the boat, when it arrived, and he even texted pictures and a video of it being unloaded. Emails and phone calls were always responded promptly, and believe me, I was quite a nuisance. :) On top of all that, I received a great deal on this car, which was just introduced and in high demand. Thanks to Tony as well, and the detailing team who worked hard to get the car prepped and detailed the same day they got it in so I could drive it home that night. Can't recommend these guys enough. More

The staff is friendly and responsive, I felt respected and comfortable at all times and I got a great deal! Kerry Simmons walked me through all the bells and whistles and how everything worked before I drove the car home. He has been available 24/7 to receive my many calls with questions. I pulled in today, unannounced, and had all tires checked on my car due to a message I got re low tire pressure. I was in and out in ten minutes. I have never known such first class treatment from a dealership. Cannot say enough. More

I'm not saying that we need to avoide face to face exchanges completely, but in this busy world of data and information, people often want to research on their own time without wasting that of others before they engage with the face to face. For example, most days I spend 12 hours or more at my office going from building to building and meeting to meeting. I depend on email, texts, instant messaging, Skype or FaceTime, and my cell phone for much of my communication. Let me explain why this is important to me and why I was so impressed with BMW of Devon. For the last four or five months I had been searching online for a CPO BMW. I would use the time that I had to look online for the model I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. I had made a couple inquiries online with my local BMW dealership and got nothing but crickets. When I did get a response, it was useless dribble like "Present me with a Challange". Yes, I spelled that incorrectly because that was how it was spelled in the email I received. Seriously? Here's a challenge for you: LEARN TO SPELL! Anyway, since they were of no use, I started expanding my search using the BMW web site. From California to Maine, I looked at any car that matched my search criteria. After what seemed an eternity, I finally got a good hit on a 2012 535i xDrive at BMW of Devon. I decided to click the "request an eQuote" button fully expecting to not get a response. In under an hour I received a very pleasant email from Helen with the price minus a nice internet discount. She even apologized for taking so long. OTHER DEALERSHIPS TAKE NOTE: She responded in less than an hour and apologized!!!! Moving on... Given that the car matched my criteria and the price was very good, I decided to contact Carolyn who was the salesperson Helen mentioned could help me further. As with Helen, Carolyn responded almost immediately an answered every one of my questions. Carolyn was incredibly helpful, insanely polite, and blazingly fast. Since I was interested in the car, the next step was to figure out what to do with my trade. I gave Carolyn the VIN, a description, and emailed her a picture. Within an hour, she emailed me back and said that Demetri, the CPO manager, gave her a verbal figure for my trade. I had done my research and was expecting something between KBB and the "other" book. The number was exactly where I wanted it to be. I knew this was subject to an appraisal, but Carolyn explained that they like to do business without jerking people around. Haggling and negotiating may be fun for some people, but I bet most people find a root canal more appealing. Carolyn told me that they like to price the cars at what they are worth and give people reasonable amounts for their trades. Everybody wins. Next up: how to pay for it... Seeing at that I am not independently wealthy, there was a portion of the price that I was planning to finance. Having a good relationship with my local bank, they offered me a discounted rate that wasn't bad. I mentioned to Carolyn that I was going to secure my own financing, but she suggested that Frank, her finance manager, might be able to do better. Again, within less than an hour, Carolyn emailed me back with an offer from Frank that beat my local bank by a significant amount. In addition, by financing through BMW, I got an additional $750 discount for having recently acquired a graduate degree. Whoooo Hoooo! When can I pick this car up????? Did I also mention that by by offering such a good price for my trade I saved quite a bit on the sales tax? The following Saturday came around and I called Carolyn to see about picking up the car. She said that it was already checked out, detailed, and ready to go, so I could come pretty much anytime. How about today, I asked? Carolyn said she was there until 5pm, so come on out! Given that Devon was a little over 5 hours away from me, I quickly got in the car and hit the road. Carolyn was even nice enough to call my cell a couple times just to make sure everything was okay and that I wasn't having any issues. When I finally pulled in to the dealership, it was 4:30 pm. I felt horrible about showing up on a Saturday a half hour before quitting time, but Carolyn said it was not a problem at all. While Demetri was looking over my trade, Carolyn took me for a test drive. I don't know which impressed me more: the car, or Carolyn's knowledge about every aspect of the vehicle. She told me that she had not been at the dealership very long which astounded me. This was a salesperson who others should mimic. She was very pleasant, informed, smart, and a pleasure to deal with. There was no question that I was going to drive home in this car. By the time Demetri and I had a chance to talk, Frank and I had a chance to go over the paperwork, and Carolyn and I had a chance to pair my iPhone to the car and set up the navigation for the ride home, it was after 7pm. Again, I felt horrible for keeping these folks so long on a Saturday evening, but every one of them told me not to worry about it at all. They were more than happy to make sure I had a pleasant experience and a safe ride home with my new car. Frank told me that he would take care of everything and to call or email him if I had any problems or questions. Carolyn was even so kind as to tell me I could call her at any time should I have a question about the car. We all shook hands and on the road I went. I should have bought them all dinner! It's been a couple weeks now since I picked up the car and I couldn't be happier. I have emailed Carolyn and Frank a few times with follow-on questions and they were just as responsive as before I bought the car. Looking back on my experience and I am still impressed. This was a fantastic group of young professionals in the business of selling some of the best cars on the road. To that end, they did a great job. I don't care how far away you are... If you are in the market for a new or CPO BMW, I highly suggest you call, email, text, or visit BMW of Devon. You won't regret it. I sincerely hope that Helen. Carolyn, Demetri, and Frank are still there when I am looking for my next BMW. Without a doubt, it was definitely worth the trip for this one. More

The sales manager Claudio (who had been there 14 years) assured me that everything would be the same as it was. i went into the dealership saturday morning, really not know what to expect. i had a number in mind for a 2014 M235. Claudio set me up with Al's "replacement" Kerry Simmons, and he gave me a bottom line. no grief or haggling. I was so pleasantly surprised! i know they are in business to make money, but they went below my max number and i am getting the 2008 convertible detail too! Kerry delivered the 2014 to our house went over the "new" features and we went out for a nice wild ride back to the dealership. it was a fun day! -- ask for Kerry when you go there. very kind and considerate!
