I purchased a used BMW from Sloan BMW of Devon in January 2024. They provided an offer including specific kinds and lengths of warranties. I then counteroffered and told them the number that was acceptable 2024. They provided an offer including specific kinds and lengths of warranties. I then counteroffered and told them the number that was acceptable to me. I went for coffee. When I came back, they provided a final offer that was in the ballpark. I accepted the offer. Several weeks later I signed into my BMW account and noticed that the warranty time frames were not what we had agreed to. I emailed my sales representative 5 times (3 of which he answered and said they would get back to me) and I talked with customer service online twice (and they said they would get back to me). There has been no action to resolve my issue or even to discuss it. So, in hindsight, what apparently happened was that in order to get to my proposed number they lowered the warranty protection and just didn’t bother to tell me. If you need to buy a car from them, I suggest being very cautious because I do not feel I was treated with fairness or forthrightness. More
