I wrote this review four days ago and I have not received any reply. So, I am just re-posting it. I just bought a new BMW from BMW Clear Lake, and as a serial reviewer I thought I would share my experienc any reply. So, I am just re-posting it. I just bought a new BMW from BMW Clear Lake, and as a serial reviewer I thought I would share my experience. Here is the short version: for the most part it was a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend this dealership. You might ask, “Then, why just four stars?” Well, here is a longer version: I went to this dealership in December. I had seen a car on their website. I spoke with Alex. He was great. The car I wanted was not available and I was hoping to get it in a few days. It didn’t happen and apparently it was sold to someone else. Well, I thought, these things happen. So, I went there yesterday and spoke with Alex again. He was busy and he asked Josh to help. Josh was absolutely wonderful. I really appreciate both Josh and Alex. They are professional, and extremely generous with their time and information. I did not feel any pressure. It was just fantastic. And of course, I am not going to forget Stephen who took the time to teach me how to connect my phone to the car, etc. He, too, was great. And then, the somewhat negative part of the experience started. I had to wait for about two hours to meet Nathaniel, the finance manager, to pay for the car. Again, I thought, well, these things happen. And since it was Saturday, it was understandable. Of course, when I went to his office, I realized why he was taking such a long time with every customer. He was explaining different types of insurances and was trying to convince customers to buy extra things. Again, I thought, well, this is normal. After all, this is a business and they have to make as much money as they can. But then he told me that due to some minor mistakes I should pay about $200 more. Well, this time I should say that these things, usually, do not happen, and frankly, they shouldn’t happen at all. In fact, I thought if BMW accounting office made a mistake, they should cover it themselves not me. But I was writing a check for thousands of dollars; I had spent about four hours there, I was tired, hungry, thirsty, and I had an appointment in 45 minutes. So, I didn’t argue and paid. But this is the reason behind the missing star! Having said all that, the overall experience was very positive and I will definitely go back there for my future needs although there is another BMW dealership much closer to where I live. And more significantly, I will recommend this location to all my friends who are planning to buy new BMWs (and there are quite a few), telling them that they should ask for Josh and/or Alex. PS. BMW of Clear Lake has a wonderful hot beverage-making machine. Stay away from the espresso option; it is not even close! Go for normal coffee 😊 More
