After working through all of the details, we drove down to purchase a 4 series convertible from Brian .... And once we arrived, the process to finalize the transaction and get back on the road couldn't have been smoother. He was the most helpful Client Advisor that went above and beyond out of probably 10 different ones I was in contact with; gave me his full attention acknowledging I was a serious buyer that just couldn't walk in to look at the cars in person and send me detailed window stickers from the cars I was comparing and followed up diligently offering additional assistance as needed. I ended up custom ordering exactly what I wanted with the help of a local dealer as nobody nationwide seemed to have a car with every detail I was looking for but if I had gone with a new car currently in stock, I would have gone with Lonnie and BMW of Catonsville without any hesitation. Easy Car Buying Experience with Lonnie Lonnie made buying a BMW as easy as booking a vacation with an agent. When I arrived at BMW, doubting they could help me, Lonnie greeted me at the doo Lonnie made buying a BMW as easy as booking a vacation with an agent. When I arrived at BMW, doubting they could help me, Lonnie greeted me at the door. I immediately told Lonnie my wish list as far as payments and warranties. Then I told him to do the best he could do with the information. I informed him I wasn't looking for any bells and whistles. I just wanted to get out of my old BMW and get into something with a better warranty. As he was talking to me, I was never a believer. He told me I am going to get you a 5 series, it will be in budget, and we will take care of your trade situation ( upside down balance). I spent about 20 minutes with Lonnie and I had to leave to get to work. After leaving, he contacted me about 20 minutes later and stated you can pick your car up when you get off work. Then he stated you have to talk to the finance manager before you can take the car. At that time I was thinking here we go with a good old fashioned bait and switch. When I arrived at BMW, Lonnie instructed me to clean out my old car and put my items in my new car. At the time, I refused. I told Lonnie I want to talk payments and warranty options. Lonnie stated we already talked about that and nothing has changed. He stated everything you requested is taken care of in this car deal. I still was not a believer. Then, I spoke with the finance manager. He basically wanted to know if I wanted to get GAP coverage and tire coverage for about $30 per month. Still stuck in a daze, I began to come alive. I am the queen of killing tires. So I welcomed the extra coverage. Then he informed me that the maintenance I choose will cover scheduled maintenance. The warranty cover repairs. Then he stated by the way, if you don't want the BMW credit card we willing be sending you, you don't have to keep it. After that, I was out the door. No money out of pocket. And the bmw that was discussed earlier that day was upgraded to one with navigation at no additional fee. I still couldn't believe it. And the only reason I tried my luck with BMW is because places like Dodge and Toyota were trying to get me to buy vehicles at the price of a BMW. I bought my last BMW at a non BMW dealer. Unbeknownst to me, the warranties and maintenance plans provided by BMW on their certified vehicles far surpass any warranty I've ever had on a vehicle, including a new vehicle. I have never in my life heard of a warranty on tires from a luxury car dealer. More
