I was looking to lease a new 2011 bmw 328xi and so my gf and I decided to take last Saturday and drive around to various dealerships in the NYC metro area. We stopped into BMW of Bloomfield without an appointment and got matched up with Alaa. Talk about winning the lottery. He was patient, very helpful, and all with a nice sense of humor. Even though my gf and I were well prepared to talk "numbers" (we brought along print outs from edmunds and kelly blue book), we were expecting an adversarial type of negotiation process, however, with Alaa the process was very friendly, respectful, and painless. We got around to a price, and Alaa had to check with one of the sales managers, Wayne who came over and he was just as friendly to deal with. We settled on the price, and the rest is history. Even though I didn't plan on committing to anything that day (we planned on just "shopping" around), i'm glad that I did, but it probably wouldn't have happened if it had not been for us getting "matched" up with Alaa when we walked in through the door. The only negative is that my gf is still talking about how charming Alaa was!!! Like i'm not charming??? :) More

For as irate and aggrivated as I was on the phone, I will say that everyone I spoke to remained calm and professional. The principle remains the same.....My credit card should have never been charged. More

In working with Rich, he has been more than accommodating; alway delivering the truck when promised, and is very responsive. He has gone above and beyond, from coordinating an insurance claim to ensuring that everything is working properly before returning my vehicle. I would highly recommend Rich and BMW of Bloomfield to all of my friends and family. More
Purchased my X5 at Bloomfield BMW in 2009. Now I'm bringing my M3 for service there. BMWs have been in the family for 20+ years. Started taking other family vehicles to Bloomfield BMW because the service is just THAT good. Blows away all the other BMW centers in NJ, and I've been to them all. Just so you get an idea--I drive all the way from Englewood to bring my cars there. Ask for Keith Marciniak. He's on the ball and knows his stuff. I won't deal with any other service advisor. Everything will always be done correctly--the first time. The new facilities are also very nice. More

I have receommended this dealership to several friends and family in the past and will continue to do so in the future. My husband and I are always greeted by name when we come in for servicing and are tr and family in the past and will continue to do so in the future. My husband and I are always greeted by name when we come in for servicing and are treated with the utmost respect. We are always accomodated whether it is early morning appointments or late evening pick ups. We have been servicing our car with this dealership since 2003 and last year bought a new car there and hope to continue keeping our business there. BMW really knows how to create a family like atmospshere which promotes loyalty. When I am assigned to work with Tom or not he always seeks and greets me when I am there, and that lets me know that it is not just about selling a great car but it also about giving great service. Everyone at BMW of Bloomfield is extremely courteous. Jay made the effort to find me the car that I wanted and to get that car to me in the timeframe in which I needed it. I always dreamed of having a BMW. Jacqueline and Ivan put me in my first BMW a few years ago. I will work with Jacqueline on my new one as well. My husband handles the service on our X3. We are happy with our sales and service experience thus far. We feel like one of the family. We pass two BMW dealerships from our home to Bloomfield. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I came to BMW of Bloomfield late on Saturday (I had a 5pm appt and they were closing at 6) after a negative experience earlier in the day at Park Ave BMW. I was looking to buy a loaner 328xi and had called in advance to make sure that there were cars in stock. I received a prompt return phone call from Odria informing me there were cars available, and to come in. I arrived at the dealer 15 minutes early, with time to look around, and was promptly greeted by two gentlemen. While one went to tell the internet sales team I had arrived, I spoke with the other, who turned out to be Bob Scherzer. He offered to get me started instead of letting me sit around and wait for the other team. The experience overall was great. Bob was knowledgable, honest, and didn't provide pressure on me to make a decision. Charles was a convincing salesman (he was definitely the heavy when it came to applying pressure), but never made me uncomfortable, and I genuinely believed him when he said he was most concerned with making me happy with my purchase. The only thing that I found a little uncomfortable was that while I was sitting in Bob's cube, talking to Charles, Jackie and Odria came by to meet me, and Jackie pulled Bob away from the conversation, no doubt to reprimand him for helping me. Bob was professional and didn't say a thing about it, but it was a little odd. I appreciated the quick help and warm greeting when I walked in the door, and felt bad he was reprimanded for doing the right thing for me. If it weren't for that, I'd have given the entire experience 5 stars. Finally, Jim Palumbo was patient and knowledgable, helping me close the deal at 8pm, long after close. Bob even hung around until I was finished, made sure I was comfortable enough with the car to drive home (even setting up the bluetooth connection to my cell phone for me), and told me to make a list of anything I had questions about for my next visit to the dealer - he'd be happy to help me anytime! I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I was so comfortable with the dealership, that I'm looking forward to bringing the car in for its first service! More
