I am 64 years old and have been fortunate enough to have purchased at least 10 new vehicles in the past, including our 1995 Mercedes. We have never been treated more like a king & queen. Everyone bent over backwards to make sure that through every step of the process my wife & I were as comfortable & happy as possible. I was looking to buy a 2008 bmw 535xi CPO by searching online extensively. I found BMW of Bloomfield has one that seems good deal to me, so I send in request for more information and asked for a quote for online extensively. The sales representative responded my email shortly, but quoted a surprisingly low number for my trade compared to quotes from other dealers. I responded asking for reason and mentioned quotes from other dealers. I told him I live quite far from Bloomfield so I would like to at least have the idea of the bottom line numbers so that we can have a deal if I decide to visit. The guy responded saying he "assume" he can match the quotes. Then I responded again to ask him if he can be more positive about his trade in offer, he responded back asking for the VIN of my trade in. After I sent him the VIN he replied saying they need to see to car. I have never had such experience with a dealer. I always got estimated quote for my trade, although sometimes pending final inspection, which is understandable. BTW, I kept asking what is best selling price he can do for the 535xi, he just kept ignoring my question. And the advertised internet price for the car according to him is $2000 more than that I saw on the internet. I do not know what was going on over his end, but it is just a very unpleasant experience. P.S. The internet sales manager Jacqueline Apicella followed up my complaint promptly. She provided me with fair trade in price and alternate vehicle because the car I was asking about was sold. But I ended up buying my car from another dealer. Anyways, it is worth mentioning that they actually care about customer's review and rating, which is a good thing. More

Although they had a car with the colors and options very similar car to the one i wanted on the lot, they didn't try to push me into it, and found the EXACT car that i wanted and arranged to have it to their dealership over a holiday weekend.
