First, I would like to acknowledge that the service management has changed here to improve customer satisfaction, and we have seen great improvements in the customer satisfaction of the dealership. I discussed your situation with my service manager and while we would like to work on your headlights, the technician working on your BMW discovered water coming in through very small drill holes, once we discovered the problem was due to modifications that you had made to your headlights at an uncertified repair facility, your warranty was no longer valid. When modifications are done to a BMW by a non certified dealer we are hesitant to continue working on that part until it is restored to the original factory condition by the person who modified it. Uncertified BWM dealers that work on BMWs do not always have the tools to properly work in the car; while we have the correct tools and resources provided by BMW to correctly do any work to your vehicle. We would not have recommended that you modify your head lamps to install different bulbs for this reason.
